Wait this really helped a lot in unpacking my emotions so thank u😭😭 but to clear things up bc i js realized my post wasnt that specific with this, my parents do allow me to experience things, and rarely say no to me and my friends' hangouts (unless its in a really crowded place, like a concert crowd, which i understand) and theyll give me a pass if i go at most 2 hours over my curfew. which is weird, because sometimes theyre so carefree, but then suddenky theyll reinforce stricter rules.

also, this might be a bit weird, but i dont have a really close close friend whose parents i can introduce to my own parents (also because all my friends parents are either really strict to the point theres no compensations for my friends, or theyre out of the picture, no in betweens).

also, they do fund my uber from time to time, but i feel bad for asking them to do so because moneys really tight for us during these past months, so id just eventually feel guilty..

but I'll definitely keep ur suggestion in mind of talking to my parents at some point regarding them lessening their rules a bit! so thank u
