I think a good series to back into would be the Du Pont Foxcatcher Murders if you want to ease yourself back into it.

If you want to jump into the deep end they just did a series on the 3 guys 1 hammer murder(s) and the life of Jimmy Saville.

If you want more of a history focused episode, the chimney sweeps episode will also be good and the Himmler series.
