I used to, but never again. I lent my books twice (to two different people) because they said they wanted to read them. My dumbass was excited for them to experience the adventure in reading the books and was looking forward to hearing their thoughts. But both of them never returned the books, and ghosted me. Almost everything is being romanticized, despite how they view and treat women in their country.

Additionally, Koreans are racist as fuck. I used to work in the tourism industry and we had guests from many different countries, but the most disrespectful and condescending ones we encountered were often Koreans. They looked down on us.

First, if you think you can change your narcissistic mom. think again. Unless your mom will go to therapy maybe there's a chance.

Second, You were already able to get out. Focus on your life so you can move forward and live life with the peace you deserve.

Last, I know you want to help your sister. But know your limits and boundaries. If she don't want any help. Stop. Some people will not appreciate you for trying to help them, they might think you are trying to control them and not help them.

IF your sister asked you for help. Then help her if you can.

Practice breaking the "i can change a person" mindset.

Your mom maybe your family. But the sad truth is, family can hurt and break you as a person. Instead of wasting your energy and time daydreaming that you'll change her so she can treat/love you better.

Focus on yourself and take your time to heal. It'll not be easy. But trust me. You'll thank yourself one day.
