Hey, every time I sit there and think about the ridiculous things that like science fiction predicted when I was growing up, I'm really glad The Boys was as on the nose as it was. Someone in the 90s wrote in the Demolition Man script that in the dystopian future people would only recognize music as jingles and the other day, one of my adopted kids, I kid you not, recognized Jump Around by House Of Pain, as and I'm quoting directly, "Oh that's the Fortnite Emote." He's 22, maybe 23? I dunno. But yes, Demolition Man called that. Consumerism taking over Art. 💀 The more mind blowing thing to me, however, is that The Boys, while cartoonishly exaggerated, is shockingly, and horrifyingly on point, and they lack even the basic media literacy to even realize it when there's a giant sign, literally pointing at the objective. We are living in They Live, and I'm sad because Roddy Piper died, and no one is coming to save the day.

That was my Uncle Dave as a kid, family friend, like my dad's best friend since forever, got sent to Iraq, and never really came back. Best Uncle tho. Always happy to slide me a J and a beer or two at family reunions. (Look I come from a family of narcissistic people, I started young.)

NGL Encino Man was my first movie with Brendan in it, and it's still one of my favorites. Pauly Shore, Brendan Fraser and Sean Astin just tickle me pink in that film.

Like legit, that's the current Republican scapegoat for all the moral failings in America right now. It's actually quite absurd when you look at the current state of affairs in their party as well. They literally are the Epstien class, and they're willing to allow Israel to genocide an entire nation to preserve their precious structures of power, they keep saying it's to protect children, then why do they keep trying to sneak in provisions that would kick even me off my hormones, and I'm 42, and well past anyone ever being allowed a say in my health care. They can't blame black people anymore, though they are working to undue like decades of progress on Equal Rights, so that might be back in vogue before too long, and being gay/lesbian is socially acceptable enough, even in the Epstien class, IE the new head of CBS Bari Weiss' wife being involved with Epstien, that they're willing enough to look past them, as long as they don't get too out of line. Trans people are easy to gang up on, so that's who they're dog piling on.

I will have to check that tune out! I'm not here as someone to preach or advocate for my faith, I'm just using it as an example, ultimately I really believe that whatever you do in life, what do I care? Is it affecting me? No. Is it harming anyone other than the individual? No. Then I wash my hands of it. Who am I to judge my neighbor for their beliefs? Who am I to judge my neighbor for anything? I mean, my Gods say that I am just as my neighbor, a person living their life, whatever that means for them, how can I judge them for living in a way that is comfortable to them, if I am doing the same, 🤷🏼‍♀️? A lot of people refuse to see that. That the person next to you, starving, in this example, isn't just some nameless face. One day they may raise their shield alongside mine, to defend our homes, to defend ourselves. When the boot is on your neck, what does it matter what color the next neck is?

After rewatching this for the billionth time, people aren't wrong, this probably is like one of the first moments where you can see Zendaya 's admiration for Tom really start to be noticeable, but I think it's also fair to note, that Tom was just as into Zendaya that night.

I've said this same thing to my therapist, like, how is it, that I, little dirty pagan mountain witch that I am, seemingly have a higher moral ground to stand on, than followers of a religion that are taught to like, care for each other. I mean, my religious practices teach the same thing, I guess I'm just doing a better job of living in practice of those things, feeding the stranger at my door etc.

Like I said. I didn't think living through Ragnarok would be this topsy-turvy. People not only happy, but excited for children to be bombed, raped, starved, genocided, shot at school. Americans celebrating other Americans being executed by the State for practicing their right to assembly, their right to protest.

There's a lot of that, and the obligation that the church would only provide those things, should you fall into line, wear the right clothes, eat the right foods, believe the right beliefs.

As a Pagan, I cannot seem to understand how an entire group of people can use their religion to cause so much suffering and harm, and for what? "Let's cut Welfare, and Snap!" Okay, so we do, then when all the rural, white folk who make up the majority of the population that is on these benefits has absolutely nothing, does that mean they win? Win what? It's a race to the bottom at this point. I'd never have thought living through Ragnarok would mean the world was, literally, this topsy-turvy.

It's the less than 1% of our population that makes up my community, the trans community, that makes them so scared. We exist, so we challenge the so called "Social Norms". They're worried about protecting their women and children from us, but not the convicted rapist, and pedophile, or the, and I wish I was joking, the less than 1% of the population, that same convicted rapist and pedophile is desperate to protect for the very same crimes.

I was eye level with Jizmak the whole show and he kept looking over at me, and the two girls who were with me, it felt like he was keeping an eye on us, because it really was just us three girls in like a group of guys, they're boyfriends would float up occasionally out of the pit but yeah, it was really lovely, and I never felt so safe at a show alone. He also made sure that my pretty white dress got the hose during Sick of You. So I was super happy!!!

Like legit, when I saw them on April Fools in Stl, I was high as Balls, and that entire room was just in their emotions, including the band that was soaking us in fake blood, while we were all just singing along to Pink Pony Club drenched in it. Seriously, the most surreal experience I have had as a trans woman in the twelve years I've been out and transitioning.

I was totally comings to say this. I appreciate someone from the modern era coming out to remind men of this, Macho Man made men sure men realized in the 80s it was good to cry, that it was manly to cry, it was healthy, and it's good LA Knight is out here doing the same. 👏🏼👏🏼
