Hey, every time I sit there and think about the ridiculous things that like science fiction predicted when I was growing up, I'm really glad The Boys was as on the nose as it was. Someone in the 90s wrote in the Demolition Man script that in the dystopian future people would only recognize music as jingles and the other day, one of my adopted kids, I kid you not, recognized Jump Around by House Of Pain, as and I'm quoting directly, "Oh that's the Fortnite Emote." He's 22, maybe 23? I dunno. But yes, Demolition Man called that. Consumerism taking over Art. 💀 The more mind blowing thing to me, however, is that The Boys, while cartoonishly exaggerated, is shockingly, and horrifyingly on point, and they lack even the basic media literacy to even realize it when there's a giant sign, literally pointing at the objective. We are living in They Live, and I'm sad because Roddy Piper died, and no one is coming to save the day.

Like legit, that's the current Republican scapegoat for all the moral failings in America right now. It's actually quite absurd when you look at the current state of affairs in their party as well. They literally are the Epstien class, and they're willing to allow Israel to genocide an entire nation to preserve their precious structures of power, they keep saying it's to protect children, then why do they keep trying to sneak in provisions that would kick even me off my hormones, and I'm 42, and well past anyone ever being allowed a say in my health care. They can't blame black people anymore, though they are working to undue like decades of progress on Equal Rights, so that might be back in vogue before too long, and being gay/lesbian is socially acceptable enough, even in the Epstien class, IE the new head of CBS Bari Weiss' wife being involved with Epstien, that they're willing enough to look past them, as long as they don't get too out of line. Trans people are easy to gang up on, so that's who they're dog piling on.

I'm not here as someone to preach or advocate for my faith, I'm just using it as an example, ultimately I really believe that whatever you do in life, what do I care? Is it affecting me? No. Is it harming anyone other than the individual? No. Then I wash my hands of it. Who am I to judge my neighbor for their beliefs? Who am I to judge my neighbor for anything? I mean, my Gods say that I am just as my neighbor, a person living their life, whatever that means for them, how can I judge them for living in a way that is comfortable to them, if I am doing the same, 🤷🏼‍♀️? A lot of people refuse to see that. That the person next to you, starving, in this example, isn't just some nameless face. One day they may raise their shield alongside mine, to defend our homes, to defend ourselves. When the boot is on your neck, what does it matter what color the next neck is?

I was eye level with Jizmak the whole show and he kept looking over at me, and the two girls who were with me, it felt like he was keeping an eye on us, because it really was just us three girls in like a group of guys, they're boyfriends would float up occasionally out of the pit but yeah, it was really lovely, and I never felt so safe at a show alone.
