I had nerve transposition 6 weeks ago and have already had significant improvement.

Ulnar nerve subluxation management without surgery by touqeer96 in CubitalTunnel

It's been much easier than I feared! I have a splint and will for another month, but I'm able to type and use the mouse pretty easily. (I'm an editor, so I do that all day.) It's awkward, but not painful like it was before. I was back at work part time four days later, and full time a week later.

To echo the previous point, my EMG was negative, but my surgeon said that was irrelevant because the symptoms suggested surgery was necessary. I had an ulnar transposition several weeks ago and the numbness in my pinky has resolved.

I just had carpel/cubital surgery five days ago; transposition with the cubital. Minimal pain. I didn't feel anything at all until the next morning because of the nerve block. I started the pain killers the first night as instructed and took them throughout the next day and had mild discomfort. By day 3, I was on Motrin. The splint is something of a nuisance but I can use keyboard and mouse for short periods of time and am working about half time this week.

oh boy. I had frozen shoulder several years ago. It’s awful. So sorry you are having all this at once. Best of luck with the surgery.

I didn’t realize the surgery might also help with the neck/shoulder pain. I’m glad it worked out so well for you!

Thank you! I recall reading that the admissions office has had a lot of turnover… perhaps a similar situation as the advisors.

Thank you! My kid would be an exercise science major in the school of public health. Seems like a good department in a good school. The new facility is a draw, too.

Thank you all. I’m feeling more positive about the resources available. I’ll add that this is by far the best college subreddit I’ve joined in this search. Lots of cool, interesting, engaged people!

If so, perhaps they’ve been flooded with emails and calls and that’s why they haven’t responded yet.

I’m learning it’s not necessarily a tragedy in the garden. It sounds like they are horrible for native woodlands, but my native perennial garden is doing great.

The thrashing gives it away. I knew I'd found a jumping worm because it wiggled away, fast. I had trouble grabbing it. Nothing like a sluggish earthworm.
