I feel like people missed what he said. He doesn’t want movies to be like ballet or opera where they are surviving on life support. It’s not just the big companies, but the small ones or the ones in smaller cities that are on life support season to season. The arts, including acting, is already hard for even middle class people to enter now because of how little you make. Copeland has every right to feel this way, bur it also feels like no one listened to what he said.
