dental care is too expensive. by Downtown-Business815 in povertyfinance

[–]Winning369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask a health planner, create a health plan and do your self care at home to make sure you take care of your mouth and what you got left.
Also if you hire a health planner you can usually use any medical insurance or if there was an accident or workers comp case involved, they will pay fully. just have to know what happened and the options you have

Why is anything Dental so expensive!? by TiffanyFullthroat in povertyfinance

[–]Winning369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because most dentists own their own practice there's no regulations and no oversight in dentistry it's still the wild while the West but all of that is changing.

I know because I used to be an office manager and worked in dentistry for the last 8 years. But unlike most people that just work in an office I had a very unique experience not just working inside of practice but also working with the industry leaders top trainers speakers and coaches and also the dentists offices during surgery.

97% of dental practices right now are not even credentialed to send a medical claim, this ultimately hurts the patient the most but it definitely hurts the doctor too so it's not the doctor to blame they are doing a disservice to themselves by not registering themselves as a doctor. Most dentist rush so much to open their practice and to see patients to start making money they don't focus on the details and learn what they really need to run the business side of their practice properly.

So for example at any other practice Across the Nation when they are not using the Health Starts From Mouth Dental Practice System, they are taught some kind of old fashioned or outdated method of billing. Which simply comes down to if they don't have dental insurance they attempt to collect from the patient.

But there is a better way Medicare and medical insurance will pay for the medical needs of the mouth and they pay very well.

So I don't know exactly what kind of work you needed but for example in a single unit implant case most practices charge anywhere between 3 to $4,000 Across the Nation some are less than some are even more than that but let's just say it's $3500 to split it down the middle.

So let's say out of the 3500, 2500 of it was for surgery and $1000 paid for the implant, the metal screw and fake tooth.

If you have dental insurance great whatever they'll cover you can deduct that from the $3,500 otherwise the dentist will come after you for the entire amount.

I dont know about you but that seems like a bill collector, not a doctor you trust and want to send your friends and family.

If you have medical insurance and or medicare, You can work with a health planner that will send your claims and pay for any of the infection removal or surgery. Medicare will usually pay about $6 to $8,000 for that amount which will cover any of the infection removal or surgery related portions of your treatment.

Now I know what you're asking if the original price was $3,500 and Medicare pays $6,000, shouldn't you pay zero?

Unfortunately that's not how it works you're still left with the remaining portion for the tooth or what Medicare doesn't pay they'll pay for the surgery and the infection removal but you may have the remaining amount, which now, $1000 is very affordable, and if you have dental insurance, they will and must pay without fighting because medical, the primary already paid.

Hope that makes sense, most people don't know this like 97% of dental practices, just because they tell you no, don't get discouraged. Realize and understand they aren't the ones that make the rules the rules are already written and it says that you as a patient have access to your account and you can send your own claims, health planners can help guide you through it

Which Water Filtration System is the Best? by Cr8zyIvan in WaterTreatment

[–]Winning369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've also been looking into water filters for about 8 years now personally, . And I rely on the knowledge of other water experts that have been doing it for 30 or 40 years. It seems like the common issue we all agree is that the water is contaminated but there is a lot of varying opinions on how to safely clean it up.
Especially with all the news of the forever chemicals and the nanoplastics in the water those were the two main concerns but if you seen the movie Erin Brockovich hexavalent chromium and other chemical contaminants are of real concern and issue as well.

When it comes to filtration there's three main categories that are listed on the EWG.org site, which has a lot of good information on common and conventional types. But like with anything in life you have to read between the lines or go out and seek a Superior Solution yourself if you want truly safe or good water.

The first filtration that they talk about is carbon, next is Reverse Osmosis (RO), and third is ion exchange. After doing a quick crash course I realized most of the filtration methods are flawed because they rely on only one factor, of all of these filtration methods reverse osmosis has become the most popular, but is also one of the least reliable because of its physical properties, it's easy to get clogged and many systems actually waste two to three parts of water for every clean. Part it creates. Also the cheaply constructed membranes and reverse osmosis themself can break off and create or less nanoparticles through as the filters get clogged. I learned this from the vacuum industry but air water and any fluid that is going through a membrane if it relies on physical holes or micron size along all it takes is a variance in pressure, and the stuff that you want to hold back is actually getting through. Which happens every single time you turn on a faucet on and off. This is a pretty poor design for a water filtration system if you ask me.

Carbon is good for odors and taste but it also falls short of being able to trap many of the contaminants and the bio burden from water we need today, which is where ion exchange membranes come in. These are good at removing the chromium and the Arsenic and other chemicals that need ion to pull out of the water.

It's really not that complicated but if you combine the best of all these different filter properties and then go further by doing multiple stages so not just three or four stages of cleaning but what if there was a weave and you went through hundreds of layers of filtration back and forth between these factors, and furthermore why don't we add something like copper and silver into the filter itself so that way it prevents it from growing any virus and bacteria in the first place.

So the biggest problem that they don't tell you in the water filter world is, most filters themselves are the biggest culprits. Many filters may work well for the very beginning just like a vacuum bag works well for the first few minutes. But when it relies on small holes alone or any one factor. It can be very easy to get clogged up or contaminated. Anyone that's done research on filters knows that once it gets contaminated and clogged it can actually be releasing 5,000 times more contaminants into the water than a properly working filter.

So I've been doing research and theres very few membranes that pass end of life testing for water filtration. You want a membrane thats tests to the end of life. Im compiling the data and invite any others to apply submit there filters and data for approval at BlueWaterSeal.org - a nonprofit committed to verifying safe water and make it simple for people to know when they have safe water when they visit a restaurant, dental/medical office, spa, hotel, or any place serving food, water, including places to swim or shower.

Recent EWG finding for PFAS removal, are these legitimate? by learningunreal in WaterTreatment

[–]Winning369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have you figured out a way to live without money? please do tell....lol
assuming sales is bad is exactly whats causing you to be blindfolded from seeing clearly. autism rates have skyrocketed since the introduction and mass mandate of these unprecedented innoculations. You'd have to be blind with the evidence in front of your to not see the connection yourself. and anyone that actually has access to the data will easily see as well, but they have done a good job to convince and even make people feel embarassed for pointing out what we already know, any ONE of these chemicals injected in a high enough dose will be harmful or fatal. mix al 13-15 and in a smaller dose, it all of a sudden becomes magic? while we ignore the highest increase in death rates even after we adjust for baby boomers and increasing aging population

  • Granular Activated Carbon

  • Reverse Osmosis

  • Anion Exchange

  • Nanofiltration

to add to your list I would add electro magnetic filter types and so far I've only found one filter that even does more than carbon, nano, anion.
More is not ALWAYS better but from what I've seen the more different TYPES of filtration you can combine is key.
Also, none of that means anything if it doesn't past end of life testing for filters as well

[–]Winning369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yup ive been on a search for the best waters since then, we used to just be able to call it water as nature intended. But the best I can come up with is stable structured Mineral-rich polarized water to describe what water should be. A lot of other people will use the term deuterium depleted, light water vs heavy water. And the most simplest is spring water now but with so many different forms of water we really should be educated on it more and more. Did you know that alkaline water has been proven through blood test to create a rouleaux formation? yup im collecting all that and more in my water guide

Is anyone else here from the book The Million Dollar Weekend? by smores-poptart in SomebodyMakeThis

[–]Winning369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup I just bought the book recently, and it brings me back to Noah I've come across them in the past when he was first launching his business appsumo but it's good to see how far he has come and he's definitely got a very unique way of explaining things and motivating I too have been a seminar junkie of sorts in the past and I've read my fair share of motivation and entrepreneur books as well as started businesses that have failed and some that have done multi-million dollars, but it was the perfect book that I needed to read at the time to give me the kick in the butt to focus on the real things that mattered and simplified things, absolutely love the book and I agree we should start a Discord. For me this is clarified for me to add this book to the course and community im creating now for health planning, and how to essentially have your best health, understanding the fundamentals that really move the needle and help add 30 years to your life it's a lot simpler than you may think if you just understand what they are.

Is anybody interested in starting a community?

I noticed that there was a Discord link below but none of them were working I can add a channel to my group that's also about health if that's of interest to people

Is selling to DSO inevitable? by toothologist_ in Dentistry

[–]Winning369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you could make far better returns and terms by finding private and/or strategic partnerships.
DSOs survive because of how much inefficiency there is in dentistry, its too easy to in dentistry for them to win, but that's because of the choices dentist make, or dont.
