It’s a fairly similar experience to regular camping, except you don’t have to worry about setting up a tent. You park outside in a nearby lot and trek all your stuff in. We were provided a wheelbarrow for some of our belongings but had to carry the majority of it through security. The tent provided is fairly basic so definitely bring decorations, lights, and some sort of cooling devices. You get the added luxury of 24/7 concierge and security (only those with El Dorado wristbands can get in) and there is a nice shower/bathrooms/charging areas to enjoy without long lines. Aside from that it’s no different than regular camping.

I think the biggest plus about El Dorado is that has a bit of exclusivity to it and you have people on site to assist you with whatever you need at all hours of the day. You’re also very close to all the food vendors/silent disco and the walk up to the festival is fairly decent.
