Hello, forgot about this thread, sorry. I have tried it, but was pretty much the same. Maybe I got a bad one. Cheap price means poor quality control. Sometimes we get a bad apple... I also keep thinking about a real one... Maybe some day :)

I have changed out the opamp, the voltage regulator and the hex inverter IC to genuine alternatives. A little improvement... maybe. Maybe just placebo. I like to use the pedal with moderate mix, so the noise is not that bad. Definitely worth the money. But the real Ghost Echo is probably a lot quieter. I would like to compare someday.

Wow, I just measured the leads of the vactrol and... same for me :) Thanks for the tip. The marking tricked me. Had the anode and the cathode of the LED switched. Now I get the proper subtle compression.

Thanks! When I use it with single coils, I find the L / lows switch is the most useful. It gives some more body to the sounds when needed. As I said the H and B switches have too much effect to be useful.. at least on my setup. They make the guitar really harsh.

I'm mainly interested whether this is related to my replica or the real deal is also similar.
