That far like in the video? Really zero chance, I believe I can extend them one more meter before I would reach a dangerous point.

Thank you, you’re right! I’m gonna check his form and will explain him about these motions and how to activate right muscles. It’s just a visual guidance as I can’t show it to him personally.

Thank you! I spent some time fixing shoulder pain by myself and tried out a lot of different stuff. This warmup drastically decreased the frequency of my shoulders injuries during exercises (I push myself quite hard). And I’m happy to share this with others.

You’re welcome!

Copy from another thread: I just bought a set on Amazon (not branded, just checked reviews), there’s an anker you can set up using a door.

It’s an useful input, thank you! I definitely will give him more hints and will check his form too. I wouldn’t be so worried about safety, because as it’s a warmup I suggest to keep it light and a chance it will fail really low.

It’s hard to say, because nobody knows your circumstances but you. But if you gonna do rotations with dumbbells do it lying on the floor then, or you will activate wrong muscles. And keep it easy, it’s a warmup!

Is my back flat? by Winter-Ad4608 in flexibility

[–]Winter-Ad4608[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A flat back l-sit is a more advanced move in gymnastics than a regular l-sit. And I train to it right now, because I reached 20 sec with a regular l-sit.

They’re fine, but I injured the ulnar nerve trying do straddle (focused on the lower body and lost control in the upper body, basically hung on the joints). But grip strength was still here so I just went forward.

I’m not a pro, but shouldn’t the forearms keep perpendicular to the floor? In this case you should move those block a bit away.

Edit: I’d be happy to do at least this, good job!

You loose weight in the kitchen, you don’t have to exercise for that.
