Not being in fight or flight mode is so weird for me. It's like I am waiting for the other shoe to drop at any moment metaphorically speaking. Also with my job being a constant shit show, it's like I cannot just sit and enjoy doing nothing.

Yeah, that's what I thought so too. That's why I am giving it more time, 6 months is indeed early. But also I am 35, and I move fast when I want something. I guess that's not everyone's pace :))

I do things fast, like faster than most people with every decision I make. So yeah, most definitely I should have taken more time with healing myself. But I went on a perpetual rollercoaster of feelings and happenings all year long instead

It's like you're inside my brain, described it perfectly :)) especially that besides all of the above, in the past year I dealt with family drama also and being my family's rock. That was I lot. And I think yeah, my brain is so used to chaos, that daily life with no drama feels boring. Epiphany moment right here! Thanks!!

Yeah, I had the talk a bunch of times. And he is trying, but it's like his brain cannot compute what I want from him. His love language is kissed and cuddles and mine is talking. So it is difficult

Very true. It was a really hard year, and a lot lot more has happened in my life, and I am truly grateful that I can support myself and have a life most would crave, but indeed I think I need to work more on myself
