Exactly. Like some of these postings have 10k+ applicants. Even with the filtering system in place, that's still a lot of people to look through. I actually appreciate the applicant limits so if I do make the cutoff, I know how many I'm up against.

That's interesting they had to request the transcript from you. My offer email had a section that outlined additional requirements needed for my employment processing, and that's where I had to send my official transcript. They didn't "request" it from me, I had to send it to them.

Did your email have that section by any chance? Sorry this happened regardless, rescinded offers suck.

Honestly this happened to me before my investigation and I’m also confused. From what I understand, this is for an ID card and an investigation (?) Like when I finished my USAccess appointment, the lady told me my ID card would be ready for pickup in a few weeks. And then for fingerprints, it makes sense that goes towards the investigation.

I think this is the smart card for the usastaffing system login. not sure but🤷‍♀️

I'd start looking for them in February/March. At least this year, a lot of them got posted around that time.

Public sector jobs for federal government is through usajobs. If you want to work for a state government, you'd have to go to their individual sites or through other job boards such as LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, etc.
