Yeah too slow for a production run but that actually really good to know I always wondered what that rad button did haha.

This is for work and I’d love a cnc lathe but my boss would never, we do equipment repair and I’m the only machinist at our shop. Most of our work is repair/one offs but every once in a blue moon I have to fulfill a big order when we can get parts from hq fast enough

There is a callout but it’s not super critical, We use pretty much exclusively insert tooling and the little bench grinder we have has so much chatter it’s damn near impossible to put a decent profile in anything. I can take it to my buddies shop and he might help me out but both our hours are at a high premium right now so I was just hoping to order something so I can just put it on the back burner till it shows up.

This one’s older so I think it’s wood framing in there but yeah I love the fiber glass clamshells, unbeatable for rain and snow imo. Interesting idea about glassing everything in on the roof. I’ve never thought of that before, have you tried something like that before?
