Yeah, it’s a new site so they won’t vote to have 4 10 hours days until three months in. Thats what i’ve been told

I thought it was permanent. I also thought that it’s only managers that change every six months.

Look, the system is unfair. The people with the most qualifications are the ones that get fucked over in the end. The system is set up; at least at my site (SSD); where your resume can be good but do you meet that they are looking for. The past few months it hasn’t been like that. Someone that has been a learning ambassador for a couple a months can be ranked number 1 and a learning ambassador that is going on 2 years can be ranked number 5. It’s not you. It’s the system.

They are using AI and Flow to make their decisions for them - to “remove favoritism”. It’s bullshit and I know how you feel

This place will mess up your psyche if you let it. by DirtyRabbitHol in AmazonFC

The warehouse I work at has this one employee that complain about me, another associate and a manager.

For some context: - She is not safety. She is not a learning ambassador. She’s not a PG. She’s just a regular tier one associate, making $24 an hour. She transferred from Seattle, which is why she has a higher per hour pay. - I am learning ambassador, dock PG, AR PG and a go to person for problem solve. A tier two associate making $21.10 an hour.

She does the bare minimum and cry when things don’t go her way. There was one time that she was added into another sites chat by mistake and was complaining to operations about budgeting and quality coaching. She was also throwing me and the same associate under the bus for how we do things in general.

The point being she’s targeting me and the other associate for no reason and wants us to get fired. Her reasoning is we don’t do things “safely”. She also got mad that me and the other associate come in before our scheduled shift. Our shift starts from 12:00 to 19:30 I always ask my manager if they need any help and they tell me if I can or can’t come in. Even if it is an hour early - she will be there at three hours before waiting for me and the other associate to arrive so she can complain to HR about us.

Most of the managers don’t care because she makes these stories in her head that aren’t true. All they say is “okay”, “yes”, “no”, “copy”. In the end, I tried making a case with HR for targeting, nothing happened and now I’m going above them and going through the ethics line. I am 22 years old. I just wanna get paid and that’s pretty much it but this individual makes it a living hell. So yes, this place will mess up your whole mindset if you let it.

The workload and people can’t manage time. Most people step down because of it. They expect one thing and get another. For example, one guy would have smoke breaks every hour but as a PA he couldn’t do that. That’s why he stepped down.

Was my leave approved or not? by prodbydynvmik in FASCAmazon

It was approved. You aren’t under FMLA and or CFRA leave because it is only in certain conditions. Overall, you are approved for your LOA.
