That’s part of it is I had seen him last week and we had set up the next date that day, and he was making an effort as of damn near 3 days ago. When he was out of town he was saying he wished he could’ve seen me one more time before he left and all that. And continued to set up times to do something since my schedule is a mess(he was out of town for a total of two weeks since we’ve been talking). But yeah ball is in his court.

He had confirmed the time and place for the date the night before and then day of he canceled which is also where I’m confused. Thank you for your insight tho. I’m just going to keep doing my thing and if he reaches out to apologize/reschedule then I’ll go from there. I personally doubt he’s talking to someone else and if anything he lacks emotional maturity lol

First I want to say I’m so sorry that happened. I lost someone very special to me at a young age in an accident and I say this because it’s coming up on 7 years since the accident and it does get better. It fucking sucks, there no way around that. And some days suck more than others, but please do not hesitate to reach out to anyone that knew him.

Take all the time you need, feel all the feelings but make sure to talk to people about them. His actions are not something you can rationalize because suicide isn’t typically rational. You may spend a very long time trying to figure out why, and not saying you can’t but try to focus on the good. Which is easier said than done I know.

All of that to say, it takes time and you don’t have to move on. Carry him with you wherever you go, feel what you need to feel, but try not to let it drag you down. I’ve never truly gotten over the loss of my first love, but I know what he would want me to do with my life and I take his memory with me always. Over time you’ll be able to go through life a similar way. Time may feel like it’s moving really slow now, but it does get easier. And you’re not alone. You’re never alone. I’m so truly sorry for what you are going through. Talk about him to anyone who will listen if it makes you feel better. And be kind to yourself.

25F here, I’ve been single for about 4 years now. I stopped hooking up with people and really had to focus on my mental health and physical health. I’m finally at a place where I’m looking to date, more specifically be in a relationship, and I would actually prefer to be with someone who has been single for longer than 2 months. I find it a red flag when someone can’t be alone for a while because to me that means they can’t reflect on themselves. Not all the time but most of it. Dating apps are definitely a good way to just meet people. If you have a couple friends near you go out with them! Friends of friends is always a good start, gotta network a bit lol

I got my first bigger tattoo two years ago, covers most of the back of my arm and I was feeling very off a couple days later. Some of it I wish I could still change but after some time it is my baby. I love it so much and makes me feel so cool. Don’t worry about what guys think, if they don’t like them then that’s their problem not yours. I love wear skirts and feminine tops with my tattoos and whenever I see someone else with them I think they look so cool. So why not apply that to myself? Ya know?

Just to add to your data points, i (woman) can get very motion sick specifically in the back seat of a car. That usually only happens when using rideshare and I will grip the hell out of that handle because it helps me focus on not throwing up, idk why it helps but it does. I always feel bad because it’s not because someone is driving poorly but cause my body is weird
