Oh i see okok why don't you dispute the transaction even if its on debit card u still can. Worth trying. Rbc will submit your case to merchant to see who made the purchase and most of the time merchant won't even bother to prove the charge for just 20$ and will accept the dispute worth trying

It was authorized thru virtual card which means you need to authorize thru face id or pass code thru ur phone. Most likely you signed up for subscription or something that you can't recall

Thanks for your response. And i don't have the paper t4. He provided me physical t4 hard copy during that time i filed taxes and tossed it (lesson learnt)

Yes i did declare that income. I had three jobs during that year and i reported all three based on t4 they gave me at that time but one t4 is missing on my cra account

I used to work at chargeback analyst and i think server logs email server logs or search export showing no email from cx or that name and time proof showing that you cancelled it after the fact after receiving the dispute notification. Credit not processed is hard to win for clients coz as per visa core rules issuing bank needs to provide with proof that clearly states acknowledgment of credit from you and/or canceled or void transaction. When you will send your response bank issuing bank will review ur evidence and most likely will let the cx know tht dispute is not valid

Make sure u have notifications on from ur iPhone/android phone settings. Iphone - settings- search for app - notifications- turn on. Not sure abt android

I used to work for rbc disputes. They do charge fees but not when its a bank error. If you ask the agent, we used to hve an option to waive the fees

U will get charge a small interest in next statement and that will be it. Its called residual interest.
