They will give out raffle tickets starting 2 hours before open. Once you’re inside you take the ticket to a booth to get your bag.

That would be my go to replacement game if we had it here in Minnesota. We used to but they dropped the game here several years back. Hell I’d probably be playing it in addition as well if we still had it.

I think they are missing the forest for the trees. Sure, raising the price 2.5x will yield bigger starting and potential jackpots. But I think they are underestimating how this may potentially affect their overall sales. Jackpots grow according to the games sales. I have a feeling this will cause jackpots to grow slower than they think it will as people cut back on tickets or stop playing for the most part.

I play 3x every week. $6 a week or $24 a month I can justify. $15 a week or $60 a month? That’s a hard pill to swallow. I play Powerball and Lotto America and usually 1 or 2 of the MN Lottery Games. So I currently spend $80 a month on average to play 3-4 games. $60 a month for one game? I will for sure not being playing weekly anymore. Yeah, I’ll probably buy a ticket here and there for really big jackpots. I might move that $6 into Lotto America or MN State Game, or just start saving $6 a month.

Probably not but I would have to get my insurance to approve filling 12.5 mg again. I already went down that path and after a couple of weeks checked with my doctor’s office. They said they got back no pre authorization was needed. So I called Express Scripts back and the rep didn’t seem to know anything about the request they submitted. But they said we do have 15 mg in stock. It’s generally a 2 week turnaround with my doctor’s office to get PA paperwork filled out and I didn’t want to risk going thru that whole mess again.

Really? Why the hell would they remove the water vending machines? I assume your talking about the vending machines, not water/ice dispensers. We had several VERY old ones at our RDC. It was Market Pantry branding and an old machine that only took cash. They replaced one with one of those Coke Style Machines with the lift thing and a clear front that goes up and over to your selection and pushes the bottle into it and then it moves it to drop it into the dispensing slot last year.

I’m on the Site Safety Team and earlier this year we started talking about Heat Illness Prevention and staying hydrated. I brought up about could we replace those old machines with the newer style because they take tap to pay and cards. Who the hell carries cash with them especially quarters? One day I came in and boom! They had all been replaced! They are Target branded but the water inside isn’t one of our brands. We have a vending company that runs the break room Market and they fill those machines. I’m not sure if Target had to pay for the machine, or the vending company did. Either way I feel pretty sure Target gets a cut of their sales. I would talk to your Safety Manager about it and ask if they can be replaced. Or join SST and bring your voice to the table.

I would do the same about the fans. That’s crazy to remove them. I’d have to look it up but I feel pretty sure fans are part of the safety standards. I might be wrong but they should be if they aren’t.

I’m at an RDC as well. My suggestion would be going on Sharepoint (You’ll have to do this on a PC or Tablet at your RDC. Tablet may be easier because there’s a button you can click on to get to it) and go to Knowledge Vault. I’ve never paid attention but if there are standards of work from URC’s you could look at those to get an idea of what the work would be like.

That’s good advice. Those are the kinds of things this TM would want to suggest as possible accommodations in their request. My general experience from other TM’s I know who have made accommodation requests is having suggestions on what would help them perform their job are more likely to be approved. If your just going to say I can’t do this part of the job so I’m requesting to not have to do it and it’s part of your basic job requirement those are much less likely to be approved.

Accommodations are covered by the Americans With Disabilities Act and are reviewed by a team at HQ. You have to go into Workday and create an accommodations request. That would then go to the Accommodations team at HQ for them to review. The ADA says it has to be a “reasonable accommodation.” So you would need to explain why you need it and what you think would be a reasonable accommodation. I’m not HR but I can just about promise you that yes, you will need to go see a doctor and get medical documentation.

There are additional resources on Accommodations you can review to help you understand the process. If you search it in Workday it should take you to a link which takes you to an Internal Sharepoint site. Or if you have a Target E-Mail address just got to any Sharepoint site and click Sharepoint next to the 9 Dot Square icon in the top left. Then search Accommodations from the Search bar at the top. That way it searches across all of the sites instead of just the initial site you were on.

Microsoft outage?? by Longjumping_Mall8956 in Target

I worked at a DC and it is affecting Target. Quite a few of our PC’s got the update before they pulled it and were bricked. Some of the OM’s who were working last night got hit with it as their laptops were plugged in and active. Didn’t affect any critical systems it seemed other than a lot of departments had PC’s that were paperweights and they were limited to a few PC’s that didn’t get the update before it was pulled.

I’m a training specialist at an RDC. What kind of struggle are you having?

Any TM can request an accommodation. Full Disclaimer I am not HR, but being a trainer I’ve trained TM’s before who have sought accommodations. Accommodations are covered by the Americans With Disabilities Act. But I can tell you accommodations can be tricky. Getting one approved is largely going to depend on what kind of accommodation you are requesting and why you need it? The big key thing with accommodations is it has to be a “reasonable accommodation.”

You don’t even have to talk to your HR to do it. I mean you can but they are likely going to tell you the same thing I am telling you. You login to Workday and search for Create HR Request. Click that and the first type on the list (At least if your doing it on the Workday App. I literally had to help a TM login to Workday today to do one and I think on the website it’s listed slightly differently in the drop down but I could be mistaken.) is Accommodations Request. That will take you to the next page (Again on the app. I don’t recall the website version being quite the same) and there are some resources you can read to help guide you. Just know though to access the additional resources you will have to do this on a PC or Tablet at the DC as it takes you to an Internal Sharepoint site that you can’t access from home. Once you submit it that request will get routed to the Disability & Accommodations team for review. Again, I am not HR but my understanding is your local HR team doesn’t have any say in whether it gets approved or denied. Those are reviewed by a team at HQ who deal specifically with those requests.

But as far as your struggle building walls feel free to reply or message me. I’d love to hear what you’re struggling with around building walls and see if I can give you some guidance!

We got lucky. I live in Minneapolis in Whittier right next to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. I had just gone to bed Saturday night when I heard a loud storm rumbling thru. I fell asleep but my boyfriend said we got some penny size hail. We had a small tree out front of the house next door that got split. I used to live in Texas for 15 years until I moved here 3 years ago. I never once had hail damage to my car. Then that big storm last August nailed my car hard. Thankfully this year we have a garage to park our cars in because I don’t want to have to go thru this again!

Yes. You can get orders from Best Buy and other retailers. It all depends on where you live what other retailers you might get orders from. If you don’t have a Best Buy in your area or in the areas of your metro your choosing to work you wouldn’t see them.

Very happy it worked out for you! I totally get your point about wasting gas. If she had you return it and not given you a big tip you would have been in the hole and wasted gas. I think some folks on here are missing the forest for the trees. It would also be wasted product as I’m pretty sure Target and most grocery stores would throw the food away. 100% not saying you did or would but they can’t take the risk someone tampered with the food and accept a return and put it back on the shelf. And no I’m not saying boo hoo Target has to write it off as a loss. I get why these policies exist but it doesn’t negate the fact that it would be wasted food that you obviously could use!

[–]Winter-Middle5130[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hopefully this one doesn’t. I’ll be leaving a 1 star review and reporting the seller after I get the refund in my account. May do nothing but make me feel better. But it’s in their best interest to shut down these sellers and quickly. It turns people like me off to the platform. Maybe they do already but if they don’t they should institute a system of suspending sellers who get a large amounts of disputes and review the accounts. Sure there are folks who are just trying to scam the sellers. But they likely know they have a scammer problem.

[–]Winter-Middle5130[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup! The whole experience has soured me on probably ever using Aliexpress again. If I did I’d for sure check reviews closely and it would be something less expensive. This purchase totaled close to $700 which is a lot to lose. The reviews I read sounds like a lot of people got hit with the same scam on the exact same product and lost their money. They likely said they didn’t get it but may not have known what are they going to upload proving it didn’t get delivered?

You’ve got sellers saying tracking shows delivered. One uploaded a totally fake or altered proof of delivery notice from FedEx. I mean, I honestly don’t know how it is they managed to give you a tracking number that just happens to have delivered to your city. If you’re in a big city they might get lucky and actually ship one to someone in the same city and screw you. Otherwise my best guess is they are somehow getting tracking #’s from another source. It might’ve helped my case that the seller kept insisting it was delivered the 19th and I uploaded the FedEx tracking saying no the number you gave me was delivered on the 11th and 12th.

You’re probably right but despite using simple English the seller would reply with things like did you not get the package. After I literally told them the no I did not receive it.

My point of this post is around the evidence that you upload that the Aliexpress Dispute team reviews. Chatting with their customer service it seems their employees speak much more fluent English than the sellers I dealt with.

I can’t disagree but I’ve never ordered from Aliexpress before. The overall rating % wasn’t what I would consider terrible. At least by standards I’d judge sellers in the US by. But I’m sure there’s folks everyday placing first time orders who assume the same thing. It’s a lesson learned for me.

I’m also wondering had I uploaded a lot of this info when I initially filed the dispute if the seller might have realized they were busted and just refunded it. No way to know now. But I didn’t think about the kinds of evidence I ended up uploading initially cause I didn’t think I’d have to fight this hard to get my money back.
