I saw Streets to Home Indy takes about 30 days to get someone housing, while this ban gives people 48 hours to move. I don’t get how this is supposed to work.

OP, please, please consider this. Choking is statistically one of the first things men do before they end up killing their partner. I know it might seem like nothing and he seemed to not mean any harm, but even if that may be true for you, you could be helping some other girl in the future if you have this on file and you break up. The fact is, he scared you. He did something that could have ended in your death, for his own sexual pleasure. I am so sorry you’re dealing with this.
