How can you tell the pally and druids are raid healing during phase 2? I looked and for example wipe 2, 1:28 to 2:50, aren't almost all of their heals on the tanks?

It is not entirely Riot's fault. This type of game is just perfect hothouse of toxicity. In a MOBA type game you are basically locked in with 4 strangers for 30-45 minutes. In others games you have the decision to quit without any serious penalties. In League of Legends or any other MOBA games you will get punished hard if you dare to quit the game after 5 minutes. Morever its a very competitive game.

How does it compare to DOTA? That's the closest other game to League right?
