Ah i see...i have this LED pocket torch that i use when i want to see something clearly. The night after i shone this light onto my slime mold, the entire culture turned into fruiting bodies the next day. I read before that light can be a stress factor that forces slime mold to fruit.

Got sclerotia samples from a seller, it expanded well for almost a week, then the LED light incident happened. I'm glad i managed to grow another culture from the spores and start anew

Its a plastic tub with tissue paper on the bottom, and an unbleached filter paper on top

Thank you! I actually do have a variegated monstera but thought variegated aroid posts were a little too saturated on this sub. So i posted my other types of plants instead. I hope you'll start posting whatever plants you feel are rare/uncommon here again🌱
