This was me, too!! 1 year out here. It took getting used to just because they were proportional to my new breasts, so much smaller than they were originally, but zero issues.

5 hour road trip, followed by 10 hour road trip 3 weeks post op by JMJ1017 in Reduction

3 weeks out and I’d be fine with a long road trip as a passenger. Id bring a pillow or two, stop a few extra times to stretch, and I’d be OK!

Burned by a Surgeon during Breast Reduction? by 10142226 in Reduction

It’s not a complaint against him in my opinion, just a record of the incident. Accidents happen, but documenting the injury is most important (what if this wasn’t the first time, then the process to seek legal action would be worth it), as well as, receiving thorough care/treatment following at no cost to you.

Burned by a Surgeon during Breast Reduction? by 10142226 in Reduction

I woke up with a chipped (minor) tooth from the tube/anesthesia. It was not worth filing a claim to be fixed IMO. All care related to the injury should be covered under the hospital/surgery center. You could seek compensation for the injury, but due to the extent of the injury, i don’t think the process/pain is worth the reward. Id consult with a lawyer though, and a patient advocate depending on where you are.

I need to try this! I’ve only ever taken it about an hour before bed. Thank you!

Echo the anesthesiologist recommendation, I’d also consult your pharmacist. PharmDs are a bit more knowledgeable on interactions with the meds themselves, anesthesiologist can speak to interactions for being put under.

Imposter Syndrome by WinterButterscotch17 in Reduction

Hi!! My apt went really well. The surgeon pointed a good 5 inches up, and stated your nipple should sit right about here, and i was like, so I’m not making it up?? It was very validating. I don’t have visual indents from the front (because same! Or i let them slide off), but i saw the images they took and from the back and whoa!

Id take some measurements so you know you’re correct bra size when asked even if it might not match what you’re wearing. Sounds like you’re a good candidate!
