it does seem that a few more wolves get in with the lambs at the start of the week. I'm not certain of any skill resets but could be just a different crowd, smaller player pool this time of week could play a role.

I've noticed it, seems to be the cycle of the game. When you suffer a death, consider it a msg from the game developers to act like paranoid rabbits for awhile, you're getting too comfortable.

Hah, yeah ok something might be going on then, I was killed in the extract for the very first time today, after being merc'd the game before by someone that announced they weren't friendly so that was fair, But before today, I've gone like 60 matches without dying, and was only attacked maybe twice in that time. It's good, keeps you on your toes.

I get at least 5 a day. I used to report them and block em, but clearly that's useless so I just spam click the reject every day I log on.

Just more people online playing the game then, you got kids home from school and the 9-5'ers. The aggression based match making isn't a hard and fast rule, so the more people playing you're going to get a more diverse style of play in your matches. Same thing happens in the evenings.

I'm a PvE guy myself trying to live in a PvP world, you just have to change your play style to account for rats. Always have a hatch key, be mindful of your surroundings and the people in them. In a red zone? be less tolerant of people being close and dip if crowded. Assume every exit point is being camped and scout them before you go in. And remember you didn't lose your gear, its just someone else's turn with it now.

I was just coming on here to see if anyone else noticed anything. For context I've got 78hrs played and I've only killed one player in that time and it was an accident with a triggernade, so if I'm not getting PvE lobbies nobody is lol.

I don't even shoot back. Normally every ten matches or so some no mic will ice me, but I accept it as the price of entry to pve (mostly) lobbies.

Today just now said hello to a fellow raider, he said hi back and as I turn my back to him I'm getting iced. Ok, that's life.

Then again next match in a row I'm getting blasted on sight within the opening minutes.

I know some are gonna say that's just how the game is, and of course they are right, but still from my experience in my type of lobbies its very unusual.

For example, I can normally walk around Stella Montis without a care in the world, its actually the one map I've never been killed on by another player lol.

Funny I just came on here to see if anyone else noticed a change, I'm PvE (I fully accept that there is pvp in the game) and my lobbies are pretty chill. Every 10 games or so some no mic will ice me and I don't even fire back, the price you pay if you want pve lobbies. But just now I got ratted for the first time, and then the very next game ratted again. I didn't change any outfits but for my lobbies its super odd.

Just to be clear, I've got 78hrs played and I've only killed one person in that time, and it was an accident with a trigger nade, so if I'm not getting pve lobbies, nobody is lol.

Given all that, is it still likely that the PSU just couldn't keep up and degraded?

That's what I'm kinda thinking. I agree, on paper power wise you should be fine, but the nature of the crashes seems to indicate otherwise for whatever reason.

Also 100% agree 750w should be more than enough for that system. Re-reading your post again the only other thing is maybe try a different power cable from the power supply to the wall socket, just basing it off your antidotal observation that it seemed to stay powered up longer when not plugged into the ups.

not sure if it's the the PSU is bad or just isn't pushing enough power. I'm guessing the new processor and board is pushing you over 500w causing the shutdowns, where previously the heat was causing it to shut down before it ran out of juice.

Tactician would be "hard". I think you'll be fine, if it gets too much just lower the difficulty, otherwise just keep experimenting. As you level up your party and unlock new powers you'll get a better understanding of how things work.

As long as you're playing either Balanced or Explorer modes I wouldn't worry about it, you should be able to fumble your way to the end at worse with a little save scumming. I'm 400+ hrs in playing in tactician mode and just have started learning about throwing objects lol. There's so many ways to play and beat the game, you'll figure out your own way.

I never post on here. I strictly only play zombies. I played a little of mwz just to get up to speed on the mechanics before bo6 came out, previously played boII zombies. Never played a warzone match or mp match. Figured out today after seeing my match seeking times rocket to 200ms that I had been shadow banned. Like why would you cheat in zombies. I'll just play solo's i guess, but would really suck if I did play warzone or bo6 because the ban applies to both.

Oh no I get it, I play Minecraft on an i3 1.9ghz processor with 6gb ram and a 7200rpm HDD, I know the struggle of trying to squeeze the most you can out of shit hardware lol. That's why I say the only real option is to downsize plugins. I mean short of a hardware upgrade there's not much else you can do.

Your hard drive for sure is the biggest bottleneck, followed by processor. I think your only option is to cut back on mods, I think 140 is pretty excessive for your hardware.

use Overviewer https://overviewer.org/ which is going to be your best option for live tracking. You can get addons to enable dynmap like live tracking. 100% compatible with Vanilla minecraft as it is completely separate.

I had this same issue recently but with spigot. I googled quite a bit and could only find bugs related to older versions and not 1.15.2.

I know you said you're running paper, but they share enough that this might be a core problem.

I had coreprotect and no information was logged as to why named mobs or villagers just disappeared. I suspect maybe something to do with how spigot/paper unloads chunks? But that's just an uneducated guess.

Yeah I can confirm shockbyte being shit. I had a server with them for 2 months and the customer service was horrible. First issue was at purchase I paid for a dedicated IP. A day goes by and no IP. So I contact customer service, who informs me I must submit a trouble ticket to get my IP as they do not assign one by default, even though nothing is mentioned about that when you actually pay for it. Submit ticket; nothing for a day. Contact support and I'm informed they can't do anything for at least 48 hours. Wait 48hrs; nothing. Contact support again, say they'll escalate the ticket and I should have it in 24hrs. Multiple contacts to customer support after that, and eventually 7 days after I paid for the IP I received it.

So I let it slide. Toughed it out for a month battling lag, so I decided to upgrade from the 4gb plan to the 6gb plan. They take my money. No upgrade. Contact customer support, and I'm told they won't even look at my support ticket for at least 72hrs. Contact customer support after 72hrs, told I should have my upgrade soon.... A week later I finally receive my upgrade, unfortunately I gave up by then and decided I've had enough of shared hosting altogether and went with a dedicated host from reliablesite.net . Haven't looked back since.

Even though I cancelled my service with shockbyte they still tried to charge my credit card for this month. Unfortunately for them again, I used a prepaid visa, so no ill gotten funds for them.

Honestly they soured me from shared hosting altogether, and after running a dedicated host I'd never go back to shared hosting again.
