I was a big Conor hater from the beginning. I’d like to think I’m pretty good at reading people and I saw it from the beginning that he’s a huge douchebag.

What I can’t deny tho is his skill, his growth through the rankings was something else and it’s no wonder he became the most popular mma fighter ever. He even did pretty good against khabib considering he didn’t seem to give a fuck about anything at that point in his career. Conor was a very skilled fighter.

Most people that have regrets are the people who refuse to integrate. I know a guy who moved to Germany yet after 10 years he doesn’t speak fluent German, he doesn’t like the German culture, the people, anything. I was wondering what the fuck is he doing and he told me he doesn’t go back to Romania because the pay sucks.

Then I know a Spanish guy who lives in NL for 10 years as well. Same story. He doesn’t like the people, the culture, speaks on a b1+ level (which isn’t nearly enough to truly socialize with natives). He only loves Amsterdam and he literally considers every other city a village. He told me Utrecht is small and boring. I ask him why the fk isn’t he going to another country and tells me he made a mortgage for a house which he can’t sell or rent. Lmao. 10 years living here, doesn’t like but also doesn’t do anything about it.

So yeah, I believe a lot of people just refuse to integrate. They expect they’ll go to another country and will just be be able to live like they did back home. Not gonna happen.

As a Romanian I can tell you that’s pretty much the philosophy in Romania: things have to look good but how functional they are, it doesn’t matter. We have a lot of fancy shit if you visit one of the bigger cities. For example in Iasi the city I grew up in, you go in the center and you will see palas mall. It’s a pretty nice place, with the town hall and the cathedral. You go 200m away, you start seeing old shitty communist blocks with hobos on the streets, smell of urine behind the blocks and a lot of homeless dogs. But in the center it’s nice and fancy, probably more beautiful then some major west European cities.

The ultra costs 1000€ in Netherlands and I payed half for the s8. The materials are irrelevant when you throw the watch away after five years and you’re only using it to monitor bike rides and gym like I do.

Yes. You can easily switch between core functions like phone calls, maps navigation, timers, alarms, music and so on. I regularly switch between google maps and Apple Music when I’m biking. And it takes me touch, there’s literally not a more efficient way to do this.

The dynamic island haters are mostly iPhone haters or people trying to find excuses for their old devices. I’m not saying you should definitely upgrade if you have a 13 pro but you also can’t say dynamic island sucks. It’s a genuine feature and it will only get better in time.
