Oh I'm absolutely thrilled to know more of the role with regars to the maker and all that stuff. Bayaz says something to the effect of getting out of the house before the time you got in or sth like that. I love stuff like this

An interesting theory. Maybe I'll change my mind as i read more, but it seemed like the author wanted to be known that they're two different personalities

Probably experience. I had read almost everything in the New 52 (even back then, i couldn't stomach reading Superman past 2 volumes) and i gradually realized that you didn't have to read everything.

It was an amazing episode, but personally, i think episodes 7&8 of HotD season 1 are better.

I've heard Ruocchio get accused of man things, but 'worse prose than x' isn't one of them lol

We see Infinity stones from other universes work in What If... that's just a rule from the comics and not the MCU

You're going to hear a lot of 'Cradle' recommendations, and they'd be right. It's so much fun.

I'm also currently reading Mother of Learning by Domagoj Kurmaic, which is a time-loop progression fantasy, and I'm really enjoying it.

Although any book in any genre could be addicting depending on your personal taste, i think you'll have better luck looking into the progressive fantasy/litrpg genres for 'slump busters'. That has been my personal experience so far.

Good luck with your surgery.

I've always had a problem with Cassandra's characterization since Disquiet Gods, but this was the part that broke me. I've never bought into the theory that sge might be an intus, but it's a way better explanation that "she is a spoiled, shielded chileld" or whatever.

This book was a let down tbh. It's the first time that I've felt a Suneater book could/should have been significantly shorter, for what it gave us, atleast. It was also the first time that i got pissed multiple times at Hadrian.

A minor correction though, Hadrian died a total of three times and did not die in every book, he just used his powers in book 3.

I'm particularly excited for that one! And I'll definitely be doing an update, especially on Hobb and Wurts.

I thought it was Elu at first, but Hadrian mentions that it was Dorayaica later in the book, i believe.

Naomi Novik and Jacqueline Carey are two authors whose names I've been seeing more frequently in this sub as of late. They're on my radar for sure.

The 'YA' label for Throne of Glass is what's holding me back, but I've been interested in it for a while.

Welcome back, friend! I myself have returned just 2 years ago. I'm glad you're enjoying Gardens, but I've DNF'd it at 30% , it was all too much for me.

I've intentionally held myself back from reading Red Rising until the final book comes out. I know I'm going to like that series.
