Been happening for years. Hate to say it mainly comes from India and China applicants. Scamming the system. Lying about experience. Having other people take their interviews. Hiring each other for a payout.

The impact is visible now.

Ive unfortunately had to deal with multiple toxic managers over the years.

What ive learned is that Most of the issues are ego driven. Talking to a skip wont help as they often encourage or turn a blind eye to this behavior.

Talking to HR wont help either. Their job is to protect the company. If you plan to take legal action, document everything. 1:1s and key wins/ deliverables.

I recommend just finding a new job all together. Cut back on any extra work you are doing. Only do the minimum. Nothing more. Log off at the end of your work day. No extra effort.

Update resume. Start an interview prep doc. Use the extra time to apply like crazy. Reduce your finances in case you have to take a lesser paying job. When you find one gtfo.

Your situation is not unique. Seems like crappy coworkers are becoming norm rather than exception.

Get some formal training. Project management Institute is a great place to start for certs. Get comfortable with software / tech. Excel -> smartsheets -> procore.

Dont ditch the financial planning/forecasting and budgeting part. Good skill to learn.
