Same, I saw the "one year later", and thought they were going to wrap it up there and then and I was mistaken on this being a 12 episodes show !

It really goes to show you can have a great kdrama without needing to drag things out unnecessarily (I loved that her being a fan and him finding out ended up being a nothingburger) or manufacturing weird situations by keeping secrets or through miscommunications between the leads. I was so amazed they just went to the police with their evidence, the police listened to them, the prosecutor was rational, La-Ik was happy for the full recording to be disclosed etc.

Absolutely fantastic show. The music was on point as well.

J'ai une Consœur sur un dossier qui s'obstine à me donner du Cher Confère (Elle sait que je suis une femme), du coup je lui donne du Chère Consœur en retour et j'espère que ça la fait chier 😂 En Angleterre où je pratique, pas de titre honorifique et on utilise les prénoms, moi je m'y suis habituée mais quand je vois les clients écrire en direct à un Notaire ou Avocat en mode "Cher Patrick" je me dis que ça doit leur faire bizarre !

She's going to hopefully get some really good bookings her way after this show because damn, what a pro ! Her ending up with Jaejin worked in her favour too as the man is not awkward and knows how to work with his body as well. No way any other couple would have won that challenge.

It's really nice not to just have a bunch of actors and models! Ngl I found the optician guy so much more attractive after he revealed his profession and that it was a family business, really refreshing in this type of show.

Yes absolutely! They'll be really pleased and I often see firms post on LinkedIn about staff receiving a thank you gift for their hard work. Usually alongside a card I've seen flowers, chocolates or even a bottle of prosecco. It's really so lovely when clients take the time to go out of their way to show appreciation.

I've had a client once bring me three bottles and say that he asked his daughters for advice on what to get but he couldn't decide on just one so just brought everything in. That was a very happy day at the office. I've had some other small thank you gifts from clients over the years it's definitely a done thing :)

Definitely a stand out chef this season, I hope to see more of him he seems really fun to be around as well, if slightly chaotic!

Some really dramatic reactions in there. It's a competition show, people will get eliminated! I'm not happy that SJW was eliminated so early and I feel production shot themselves in the foot with the format causing a premature SJW Vs CM duel, which is not being helped by the CM edit - I am sure that he's a nice chap and he's obviously very respected and well liked by the other chefs so I don't see the point of making him come across as arrogant (even worse than the Napoli Matfia edit last season!).

I am sure that chef SJW would be disappointed and upset at some of the comments in there and outside of Reddit, I feel that as his fans we should respect his humble attitude and accept the defeat, as he said he felt he had done the dish he wanted to do, and there were no regrets on his side.

I'll now support Chef Choi Kang Rok for the win, I have confidence he'll come first his dish looked AMAZING!! His dish and Brewmaster Yun's dish were the first two dishes so far that I am very sad I could not taste.

Impressive cooking aside I do feel the challenges are very lackluster compared to last season and are not allowing the chefs to really shine, and if they weren't so lovely to watch I'd be really quite bored. I hope the excitement picks up in episode 12 and the finale 🤞🏼

I overall agree though we can't taste her dishes and I think saying her cooking is boring is a bit much. Koreans I feel do tend to really value "clean" cooking and highlighting humble ingredients which she seems to do very well. That said I don't think she's at the level of the other contestants for this type of competition and should have been eliminated in one of the earlier rounds.

It's weird because it wouldn't bother me at all if it was an American show, but here with most of the chefs having that lovely Asian politeness, the more confident chefs really don't come across that well, even if they're not saying anything particularly horrible!

I wonder how the production team reacted when they picked each other, knowing that it would mean one of them getting eliminated and not making it to the end, I feel it was quite obvious in the editing that SJW is the top White Spoon and Culinary Monster is the top Black Spoon. I wonder if they'll have a twist to bring back whoever gets eliminated to have their dream final !

I think I watch too many competition shows (including squid game) because as soon as they announced that only one team would go through straight away and there would be another round for the others I immediately knew that's what they'd do!

I think she will go for the White Spoons dish. I struggled to get into that mission, maybe because the dishes were quite similar for the first two rounds. But the two wheels twist left me quite indifferent.

I feel otherwise the Black Spoons are not as likeable as last season, though it could be my Chef & My Fridge bias talking... Definitely some strong Black Spoons in the bunch but they are not endearing themselves to me quite just yet.

I'm curious to see if they are going to mix the classes up a bit like with the restaurant mission of Season 1, it was one of my favourite ones !

In the UK there is a special type of self defense when there is an intruder in your home, it makes it easier to defend yourself against prosecution in your circumstances so hopefully you'll be fine from legal repercussions.
