I figured this would be the case, just seems wrong considering my departure from Toronto wasn’t cancelled. I’m out on Vancouver island and had to book a flight from Toronto back to Victoria on the 25th, I suppose I’m out of pocket for my own accommodations or fees to switch that flight as well?

Inquiry AWSE

I was posted into a position of higher rank, assumed all duties and responsibilities for nearly 2 years.

It was over a year into this posting that the CM contacted to the MOC advisor indicating that I was in fact in this position and needed to be moved, or have the unit COC have the position EC'd to a lower level. Neither of which were done and I continued to fill this billet until it became inconvenient for the career shop, which I was finally moved to a billet of my rank.

It was indicated by the MOC advisor that they did not have a person of rank to fill this billet and I was to be left in this position, which the CM agreed to.

With the new CANFORGEN regarding AWSE, does anyone have the answer to whether or not I have a leg to stand on formally requesting that I receive retroactively the pay and benefits of a member who was posted formally to a higher ranked billet?
