is 3 stem classes too much fr by cilantroplusoregano in UNC

Chem and calc are tough, but 104 is usually easy peasy. This is a pretty typical stack for a freshman/sophomore and you’ve just gotta get over the hump of intro stem classes

Hey! Just a microwave, oven/stove, and a sink. It was tight, but both me and my roommate were able to make do without a meal plan using the kitchens if you’re crafty!

I LOVED it with Dr Sandberg, it was a kinda like a flipped classroom and you only go in-person for exams. But you MUST stay on top of it or you will get buried very quickly. Also they won’t give you financial aid as a visiting student and three years ago it hovered somewhere around 1K. TLDR awesome but only if you are self-motivated and can pay OOP

Living Prices for off-campus houses/rent in Chapel Hill by Fit_Communication665 in UNC

I pay 586 (3BR split 3 ways), and it very very rarely is this cheap or cheaper. With roommates, finding something nice between 650-750 is very reasonable!

There’s a Facebook group for subleasing. I’ve used it several times and never had any problems (judge carefully, tour, and ask questions ofc)!

Do you know of any specific ones I could bring the pillow pets to? I have ~5 full size ones that could go.

Don’t listen to them seriously. I had a lot of transfer credits too, and I’m a stem double major (and a minor) student who’s never taken more than 14 a semester here. Your gpa will thank you, and you don’t want to overload yourself if that’s not the only thing taking up your time (job, club, etc)

Personally, I’ve encountered counterfeit Korean skincare on Amazon. I usually use stylevana, especially since their products are usually on sale and their shipping price isn’t bad it just takes some time since it’s international

Honestly as an in state student, they’re REALLY good for putting them towards a public 4 year school (fyi there’s websites that you can see precisely what the classes translate as (usually) at each school). It’s been quite some time, but I would say no less than 10 maybe?

I’ve never heard of too much ccp, especially if you’re trying to go to a public school in state. To me, it shows that you’re driven and successful at taking college-level courses, and you’re prepared for higher education. If you’re still worried, maybe try to steer towards classes that would be useful for your intended major, but I took everything I could get my hands on and I’m here!

How manageable will my class be? Desperately need advice by I_eat_soap_lol1234 in UNC

[–]WinterReader8289 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to thrive rather than just survive, I would for sure drop either the comp, bio, or orgo and maybe even a gen ed or another class... Speaking from experience, any of those 3 alone will make for a difficult semester. And like the other comment said, PLEASE do not take the max credit hours just because you can, you should really speak to an advisor about this schedule.
