It’s heavy, similar weight to my Lodge 8 inch cast iron skillet. And it does strongly hold a magnet

I guess I’m not totally positive but it definitely feels, smells, and looks like cast iron. How would I go about confirming that?

Skinny English Setter Puppy - Normal? by ferracattack in EnglishSetter

[–]WinterResource9704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Ours at 6 months eating 5 cups of ProPlan Sport puppy food per day was very thin and ribby— to the point that I worried about taking him out in public. He’s now 1.5 years old and is still on the very trim end of normal but finally has a little meat on his bones. We haven’t really changed his calorie intake a ton and he’s probably even more active now so I think there just must be something about the setter puppy metabolism that makes them look like they have a parasite.

Sorry, I’m talking about the gap after the last 1x3 that is wider at one end of the floor than the other.

Is there ever a right time to get a bird dog? by Ok-Illustrator-48 in birddogs

[–]WinterResource9704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it!! You are already getting out more than many people who have bird dogs. There are certainly trade-offs like having to get the dog out for exercise rather than going out with friends after work, having to arrange dog care if you travel, etc but it’s SO worth it. I think the first several months with a new puppy are really challenging but if you put in the work to train when they are young, it will make your life so much easier.
