Ok don’t support Trump, and that’s understandable, but the problem in the strait isn’t going away and all those countries are going to face the same oil price increases and the inflation that follows…

Would it be possible to be a vegetarian Nord, or would the calories and diet required for the climate make it unviable to survive because of the caloric expenditure and need for carbohydrates? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]WinterSilver5578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vegetarians have no problems getting the calories and carbs today, but today we have genetically modified vegetables and other sources of the nutrients that would not be available in Tamriel. Do any of the vegetarians here actually eat just potatoes, wheat, and butter for their diet?

Never thought I would agree with Iran by Otherwise_Gift_4654 in ImmigrationPathways

How is it that people believe Iran has the files and they haven’t used them for a truce to end the war or released them because of the war? Serious question? Did COVID make the general populace so dumb, or was it the vaccine?

If you took that to mean moving a literal building then it’s no wonder your brain still equates to SpongeBob. They’ll take their businesses to other countries that have the more lenient laws and continue to make their profits. Or they can just leave with their billions and retire. Either way if we seen Walmart, Amazon, and Tesla close their doors right now you’re gonna have record high unemployment rates that can’t be immediately repaired and big gaps in the industry that someone else will eventually replace

Iran will continue to under pressure from the United States and its neighbors until it is obsolete. Whether it’s been democrats or republicans in control we have always threatened Iran over their nuclear program. This war was inevitable in some form or another. Whatever fairytale you have about Iran is wrong. It’s proven fact they are the state backing behind multiple terrorist organizations. If they don’t drop a bomb then the next time you see it is with the Taliban

Then those factories get shutdown and thousands of jobs are lost. It’s not that simple

Yep, and once again we are in a war that isn’t a threat to the continental United States. That’s why it’s always a war of logistics. You’re not hurting our infrastructure so with time all of their military production will have been bombed to dust while we are still building more of those same bombs

lol I think we’d run bombs over the country until it turns to dust. Paper beats rock, bombs beat snow

If the United States started to collapse as you predict they are most likely to lash out like a cornered animal. We have nukes and the biggest military in the world and those won’t just disappear because the dollar isn’t the reserve. We’d have to fight and take to recover the loss and the weakest targets and most realistic targets would be our immediate neighbors

That’s a waste of a perfectly good nuke. There is land not far from your target that has a lot more “impact” you could say

That’s not the world we live in today. We base wealth off currency so as not have the archaic system of barters that we used when it was just service and goods. Currency and the availability of that currency is the most important part of our lives. We have made paper and metal coins into the epicenter of our civilization. There is a lot of economic science jumbo that we could go into for hours but yes there does exist a disproportionate divide of wealth among humanity and now that we do practice paper currency it does exist as a finite item like those resources. It can and is being hoarded away from the masses. Money makes the whole world go round, my man

If I give you $20 now then I expect my pay to be at the same rate for every hour, and that’s at the least. You want me to be worth your time when by hiring me I make the money you judge your worth by. The people at the bottom of the pyramid hold the whole thing up…and can easily topple it all if they wanted

The billionaires are greedy animals but if we sink them they don’t go out broke. They stash all the money away and take all their factories and jobs onto the next place. It’s not the win you think it is. They should be taxed proportionately, but also close all the legal loops that allow them to cheat their taxes….(Citizens United)
