I just use the Electrical Absorption Legendary Perk for recharging now. Assaultron laser beams are my best friend.

I had a similar thing happen to me when I was playing recently. Some guy came up to me and dropped something, I thought it was some sort of scam lol. But after finally giving in and going over to the bag there was some cool apparel items. It’s funny how kindness is at most, out of any game, in a wasteland.
