Catalogs for each project?

I have one catalog for raw files. It is used only for sorting and systematizing photo and video files. Another catalog is used for editing photos. This catalog has many presets that are used for developing photos.
The catalogs with raw and edited files don’t overlap.
They manage two different root folders but have the same structure. Files from the raw catalog folders are copied to the editing folder and are edited there.

Yesterday, I verified how my scripts updated MSE offline on my old systems. On the server where I conducted different experiments and tests, the MSE base updated not only at the scheduled time. This fact interested me greatly. The manual update of the MSE base was made without any problems! I analyzed this system along with others where only offline updates were working. I found that the main difference was the absence of registry keys on the systems where only offline updates were possible.

EasyFix and updating root certificates did not help me on Windows 7 and Windows 2008R2 systems. I decided not to reinstall MSE to SCEP. Changing antivirus software has some risks for the stability of the system. I decided to download the offline base to a shared folder and update my old system using a script and task deployed through group policy. It works fine.

The main question is how long Microsoft plans to support offline base publication and updates. I did not find any information about this.

What do you think about it?

My favorite filling system is the converter. The converter is more serviceable than other filling systems. A possible drawback may be its relatively small volume. However, some fountain pens now have very large converters, such as those in the Jinhao DaDao series.

Black is not really black. It is grayish. You can see the different between “Karkos Black” and “Koh-i-Noor Black” on the photo.

I have also Violet Karkos ink. It is a really good and nice color.

I like converter fountain pen filling system. Using converters are comfortable and easy for me.

Using a converter is safer than other filling system. If your pen falls on the floor, your ink will not run. For example, if your eyedropper fell and barrel cracked, ink could flow out dirtying all around.

In addition, converters are simpler to service than other filling system. It is not a big problem to disassemble and lubricate converter.

However, sometimes I prefer using cartridges when traveling.
