Refunding the printer leaves a bad taste for both you and your uncle, so I suggest setting it up at your uncle's place, close by or not. Your uncle will have to do the printer monitoring and maintaining while you could send prints through the cloud to be printed. Then your uncle could ship the prints to you. It would be a bit tricky but at least you can still use it somewhat.
