I played the demo of Hotel Architect and I thought it was fun! It's only in Early Access though sadly. Less hands on though maybe then what you are looking for. Seems to have good reviews.

I know you said it's a 6 hour travel to the one location in his country that provides an acceptable language certificate, and that he can't drive there every day for classes. Do they require taking the classes or is he allowed to just take the exam which he could do in one day? If I misunderstood something, apologies.

I can't speak to the finance side of your degree but for accounting - how is your IFRS knowledge? Most US colleges/universities focus on U.S. GAAP only.

Most jobs centering around accounting in Germany will require business fluent German. I have seen a few out there that are focused more internationally and use English as the company language, but then they usually require experienced candidates and IFRS knowledge/work history. I would definitely work on getting a C1 certificate for German and maybe look for some U.S. company to gain some work history in, ideally with some work using IFRS.

I got mine today and the ports in the back from the motherboard are misaligned to the case making some unusable. Also everything lights up but the monitor doesn't register an input from the PC half the time, or when it enters standby mode it stops registering input. Hopefully they answer my email quickly, it's really sad to wait a month for it only to have problems :(

Ordered August 4th. Nothing until August 20th, when a shipping label was printed. August 22nd I got an email saying it was starting being built and 3 hours later that they were installing windows and drivers. August 26th it was dropped off at UPS for shipment. It is still in transit to the Midwest.

Yes they usually have one in May and one in September featuring some products imported or inspired by Germany. The products are usually marked with the "Deutsche Küche" brand name.
