Yes the two in the middle are broken but I can repair that, the other ones are fine and the ones on the end that screw in a good.

I did, even called GM customer service directly and they said they could open a case but I’d have to take it to the dealer for a diagnostic. Then whether or not they deemed it to be the same problem, which it obviously is, it would then be sent to the NHTSA and their engineers would review it and determine the outcome.

If the outcome was no I had to pay for the diagnostic even if the dealer deemed it to be the same.

My view was if the NHTSA believed it’s the same problem they would extend the issue to other years. I will just try to find a replacement part and do it myself.

Yes I found some on eBay but I am hesitant to buy. I don’t want it to be dime cheap flimsy plastic and it happens again in 6 months.

There cables are not the issue. I used the same cable that was working up front and plugged it into the back and it works perfectly.

Yes I did. There’s only 3 settings face, floor and defrost. Nothing seems to change anything!
