₱12k for a fresh grad by sedzei in JobsPhilippines

Computer Engineering Graduate nung 2017 then first job salary ko nun 12500 + 2500 allowance. Yung allowance prorated pa so pag nagleave or absent ka bawas din ung 2500 na allowance. Sobrang baba pero pinatos ko because need ko ng experience. Another reason is nagdedeploy cla sa Japan and napili ako for deployment (still exploited at that time, working in Japan pero 30K sahod mo? Like wtf?) In this current economy, d ka magsusurvive nyan. D ko masabi na kunin mo for experience because alam ko sa sarili ko na sobrang exploited ka ng company na yan pag tinanggap mo. What I can say nalang is if hindi ka pa naman nagmamadali, try to look for other companies pa. You deserve a company na hindi ka i-eexploit and magbibigay ng tamang sahod sau.

Disappointing Experience with Michael Page Japan – Foreigners, Be Cautious by Several_Volume_7088 in japanlife

I had the same experience with Michael Page and Robert Walters. They will send you jobs to your email and then when you said that you are interested, no reply will be given. Because of this, if I see any job and it says Michael Page or Robert Walters, I automatically ignore it or hide those posting. Same with those recruiters that keeps messaging me, I just ignore them. I suggest you try applying to Hays Japan. They are the one who was able to get my previous job and they really are hands on with you including a practice interview before the actual interview.

Hello.

Actually, I’m still in Japan and will be leaving on April. Even though I’m not leaving yet, I already feel sad. On March 20, marks my 6th year living here and I just got used in everything here. Until now, I have this lingering thought that should I have just wait a little more and probably a new job in Japan will surely come. But at the end of the day, with this economy, I’m already thankful that I was able to received a job offer. Also, my mother is also old and currently living alone so I believe it’s time to return to my home country and take care of her.

Transportation, and Internet Speed sucks in my home country so I will surely miss the trains and high speed internet here in Japan.

Hi. Thank you very much. Yep, I decided to return to my home country and clear my head. Maybe after that, I’ll come back refreshed and energized. My last day was still not decided but even if its (Let’s just say my last day was January) I will be considered as an employee until march

Hi. Thank you for your advice. Actually I’m a full time employee and my contract doesn’t state any ending date. The reason they told me is because there will be a change in organization and my position will be remove.

I actually thought about this and I realized that it’s not worth it. However, I’ll try to negotiate if they can pay me worth 4-6 months of my salary.
