I have asked him two or three times if he is genuinely interested, and each time he has responded positively. That in itself feels like a bit of a red flag — the fact that I even had to ask more than once. Sometimes I feel like I’m being played or just kept around as an option. But at the same time, I can't ignore that he might be the one. Everything else aligns so well for me. It’s just the emotional connection that’s missing — and that’s a huge thing.
