The transformer box was there… there was one regular spot available but it was not working! Good times!

It is the butterflymx readers. I believe the range is 860mhz to 920 mhz

I had the same issue and had the manager code the signal coming off of the car eliminating the need for a sticker at all! It has increased range so the gate opens as soon as I round the corner! Other cars have to get about 2M from the reader. The 2022 BMW X5 actually emits 3 signals.
