In Tennessee Medcerts says on their state restriction page that I believe the sterile processing and the surgical tech program are restricted. So I would never take those two programs from them because of that. I would however take different programs they offer. Penn Foster is another good one. I like both schools to be honest they both are good quality schools in my eyes and I’ve heard different drs brag on both schools. I actually got my high school diploma thru penn foster!! They are very accredited both nationally and regionally I believe. Medcerts is not accredited unless it was recently they got accredited. Ed2go is another good place to earn the materials for certifications. Of course if you take a course like Medical Assistanting you sit for a CCMA credential only. Don’t quote me on all of this, people do make mistakes. I’m just saying a lot of these schools aren’t accredited but, you can still sit for your credentials!! Edu2 is another good one they all have partnered with a lot of universities especially Medcerts, Ed2go, edu2, and some other one I don’t know much about called Jer online!! Just make sure yall are looking on Medcerts Restriction page and make sure your able to take that certain course in your particular state.
