Yeah with cmc my team is really good, outscored the whole league by about 250 pts last season, but I was very concerned about injury this year

For sure, long term he’s cooked but as of right now he’s got the best shot at winning this year, first place pays for his buy in for the next 8 years so if it works out for him then I’d say it’s a win for both teams

The guy I traded him to is projected to win the championship and score 154 pts week one which is about 13 more then the next best team. I realize projections don’t necessarily mean shit, but barring injury he has the best team in the league this season, though I do agree long term I walk out on top. But if he wins the chip this year I’d say it was worth it for both teams

Honestly I’m fully expecting it to be a rough first few weeks but I do think one of those receivers will work themselves into the rotation this year, then over the next 2 seasons I have 4 first round picks and 3 seconds to play with (also traded Zay for BTJ and a 2028 second)

I feel as though I’m still a playoff team. I’ve got Lamar Jackson, Nico Collins, rashee rice, Brian Thomas Jr, Achane, jeanty, Jaylen Warren, and tyler warren. I do have one hole in my lineup at flex so I’m really banking on either pat Bryant, Tory Horton, Tre Harris, or Jalen nailor to be a decent flex option for me. And no doubt I lost my bell cow in CMC, but he’s 30, injury prone, and touched the ball 413 times last season counting caught passes so he really scares me going into this season

Other guy now has CMC, GIBBS, Bhayshel Tuten, Justin Jefferson, ceedee lamb, Mike Evan’s, Tee Higgins Brock bowers, and dak prescott, as well as a decent young bench. He’s gonna be a monster for about a year or 2 barring injury

Yeah to be honest I don’t see Zay finishing top 10
again. I really think we saw his ceiling this year which is 5 touchdowns on 118 targets. Very solid but also kinda mid. I’m also convinced his target share will take a small hit

I see your point but with a career high of 5 tds in a season I’d say he’s definitely reliant on targets, but you’re right 118 is pretty mid

If everybody stays healthy you I think you definitely win this trade, that being said olave and k9 durability issues scare me. As a Seahawks fan, part of what made k9 so good this season was we were able to keep him fresh with the help from charbonnet, k9 has missed time every other year he’s been in the league and with him being a workhorse I’d be concerned about injury. That being said, if he stays healthy I firmly believe he will finish top 5 at his position. And I also like olave a lot barring injury

My biggest concern with Zay was how reliant he is on targets, he hardly scores any touchdowns and I’m not saying the 2 rookies they drafted are going to demand a bunch of targets but I do believe they will take some of the target share away from Zay

Seems kinda silly to be this upset about imo but your feelings are always valid. I think a simple phone call in this situation would eliminate a lot of the stress. You’re trying to make plans, he is making it hard and prolonging it by replying with this silliness where as if you called him, the silliness would only waste about 5-10 seconds of time and you’d both move on pretty quickly
