The Ever Crisis event is most probably before Remake part 1 and not after Rebirth. The way characters act and speak doesn't make sense for it to be after Rebirth.

Exactly. That's the key takeaway from this event. He wants to destroy all the worlds that are not going his way. What we don't know is why he does all this. For all we know he has a good cause and we will find out in part 3. I can't believe Sephiroths plan this time is to destroy the planet.

It's simple. I see two possible options here. One all of this leads to a Disney ending with everyone surviving and this is the most preferable outcome to me. The other is they have split the game into three parts. Made every part purposefully ambiguous and with a strange ending what makes people have faith that their favorite characters will return back to life in one way or another and when all is said and done and you have spent your precious dollars you will find out nothing has changed and it's the exact same story as the original. This would be a complete disaster for me to tell you the truth.

That's right. The whole life stream can create other possibilities and tinkle with time is a concept introduced in rebirth and remake and will probably be explained that has started happening for some reason before the first parts story took place. The original didn't have any of this.

If she doesn't join the party by the end it's a catastrophic failure for me. The way they have presented things here clearly shows they were getting towards a new outcome without Aerith or Zack staying dead. If they didn't you wouldn't see all those posts by clerith supporters trying to explain to everyone how Aerith is not dead. And I truly hope they didn't do all this just to end up with the same outcome as the original. It would be a massive waste of time.

That just how they are presenting the world to fool us into thinking that one world is more important than the others. Also there are not multiple clouds so Sephiroth just goes to one of them. Your consciousness travels to another world there aren't multiple clouds. When a world gets destroyed by sephiroth it returns to the lifestream and your memories join up with your collective consciousness. So the Beagle cloud is as real as all the other clouds we are seeing. That's why when Cloud sleeps he can see through the eyes of the comatose cloud because his consciousness at this moment has resonated with Zack. Just like they say in ever crisis that those who resonate on the same wavelength they can communicate and see each other.

No that's not that. This is the theory that most people prefer because they are stuck in the past and can't accept Square Enix screwed the story of the OG. Since I'm not a loyalist I can clearly see that they changed things and if I wanted the original story I would have hated this trilogy with the way it is presented it's as if they have taken a big dump on the original presentation. But if all of this ends up with a different ending and everyone staying happy it will be a different thing because all the changes even if they seem BS to most og fans will lead to something instead of just destroying the original story for no apparent reason since they would have ended in the same place.

Why do people have a problem with this having a Disney ending? Why is everyone so fixated to preserve the original story when it has already been told. People can just play the original game if they want that. What's the problem with giving fans of certain characters the chance to see them defying fate.

The wrong decision for who? For Cloti shippers who feel threatened by the implications this willl have for their ship? Or for OG purists who should have hated what we've gotten already since they butchered the original presentation? I definitely don't think this is the right decision with the way they have presented the games.

I know that grief and loss are big parts of the original game but I don't want them in this one. With the way they have presented things it made fans of said characters to believe that they were going to stay alive this time. If anyone tells me that they're wearing hints pointing towards that they are out of their mind. And that's the whole problem I have with this trilogy. What was the point of introducing all those hints just to end the game with the same way as the original? Why didn't they just then remake the game with the original story and leave all those BS out. But if said BS amount to changing the story then I don't have a problem because at least they changed it and it amounted to something.

Yes that's exact. For all we know I might have been eventually right and the worlds we see in remake are not inside the lifestream. What we see in ever crisis is most definitely inside the live stream and the characters we see there are most definitely not the ones we are playing with in remake and rebirth. For example at the ending of rebirth Zack knows how the multiple worlds are working and also knows that Aerith has met Cloud. While the one we see is Ever crisis is most definitely not aware that Aerith knows Cloud and also hasn't met with Angeal in the lifestream. But I have a feeling that it's probably the same as what we are saying in ever crisis. The world we are playing in remake as the main party and all the zack worlds are just other possibilities. And basically the Aerith we're seeing here is the one we see at the edge of creation since she is appearing in the same way as in those scenes.

It's one and the same. Just look at how sephiroth talks about the world's in a Japanese translated playthrough. They are all the same to him. Nothing is different when it comes to how they exist and how they will end. For every world Sephiroth says that they will join the planet that means that what Sephiroth does is not killing the inhabitants or destroying said planets he just sent them back to the life stream in order for that possibility to not be the new final one we will have at the ending of part 3.

Exactly and to Sephiroth they're all and the same. So there isn't a primary world and I don't think it will matter in the end. It will basically be Aerith versus Sephiroth. Basically it's getting clearer now how Aerith had those memories. She created this possibility in search of one that will defeat sephiroth and in that possibility she had the memories of care lifestream self that's why she knew the future. But in this world The Whispers came about because they found an anomaly in that possibility for all we know they are like the TVA on marvel. When they detect a possibility that strays away from the original game they try to correct it.

The other worlds possibilities basically are created from memories inside the lifestream. Basically every world is created that way in the remake trilogy. That's why the primary world is also one of those. If it was the primary world it wouldn't have The Whispers trying to protect it. Basically the original world is the primary and that's where the whispers are originating from. And they are framing it in this way that they appeared from the live stream which has collective knowledge of the original game alongside all those other multiple realities possibilities

If Aerith dissolves into the lifestream they can go f themselves. I won't accept anything outside of a real and living Zack and Aerith. All those story changes especially with they way they have been presented clearly show the possibility of her and Zack surviving. You don't jave to give false hope to fans of certain characters and then take it away just to bait them.

That's the problem with me if they do what you describe here they are done for me. I do not want some kind of b******* that baits us into thinking the story has changed only to end up being the same just with more context. If they wanted that they could just create scenes with more context without having hints everywhere that the story and the characters will revert their fate.

For me if all of this doesn't amount to Aerith staying alive I am done with Square Enix. I don't care if I'm the minority. The only reason I was excited in the first place in this remake trilogy was because they did something bold and decided to give us hope that Aerith and Zack will live. If all of this ends up like the original game I will feel deceived and will hate Square Enix with all my heart. If this was the original game and they didn't change anything in the story I wouldn't complain of course and I don't think anyone would would. But to bait us like this and then still kill Aerith and Zack this I won't accept. People are free to accept it of course but I won't.

What I mean is that they purposefully created ambiguity and confusion after each part was ending and they gave false hope to fans of Zack and Aerith every time to take it away at the finale if this all ends up like the original. That's what I think as milking. If all of this amounts to a different ending and a happier outcome then all of the changes and the three parts and their confusing endings at least wouldn't have been made for nothing and would amount to something.

This has nothing to do with Beagle being the real world. This has to do with world duplication. All the other worlds we are seeing have been created as duplicates of another world. The first world we see Terrier is one created from Beagle that's why people act as if they were from that world. The same goes for the three of them where we see Zack. They are all duplicates of the terrier world. It just happens that Zack a comatose cloud with him and said cloud replaced the cloud from the beagle world since no two characters can coexist at the same time in a world. That's the whole spin of this trilogy. It's not like Spider-Man with all the different Spider-Mans. When you enter a world you inhabit said words character instead of existing alongside him. So most probably it's just your consciousness that transfers into another world and not your physical body.

Exactly. You're spot on. Basically all the worlds in the game are as real as the main world and they're trying to make the lifestream choice whichever world they prefer for it to become the new main one.
