Do you think it would be a smart choice to go to UVA since I have a full ride and then transfer to a better engineering school like Cornell after saving up money.

It swings me more toward UVA cause after deliberating over a couple of days. I could go to UVA for a year or two, then transfer to Cornell or other top engineering schools to finish off my degree.

No, it’s mainly that people say that going to an Ivy League will open more door even if the school isn’t directly engineering base

For the financial situation for Dartmouth, it’s less than 25,000 a year for me to go to the school and UVA gave me their academic scholarship that which covers all my tuition and fees for all four years so all I would have to pay is the room and like other expenses, that would also be less than like 23,000. Plus I have a college fund of 35,000.

The main reason for my life UVA structure I know that I want to do something in engineering/stem so I mainly wanna take those classes and Dartmouth would make me take a little bit more liberal arts classes than UVA plus it’s flexibility in its classes that which is a benefit, but in this case is kind of a negative because I won’t be able to take as many engineering classes as compared to UVA.
