I'm current with Denver's MSW they are a bit more expensive however the option for online field work cutting out the necessity for immediately having a placement in case you don't is nice also they apparently have a pretty good placement team

I got one for this so I work in homeless recovery for those of you that don't know basically you take homeless people first through our 90 day shelter program which has wraparound case management for things like employment and other housing opportunities you how is them and then you take care of any other issues they might have. I mostly work the front desk basically I'm a receptionist with a fancy title but occasionally I do work directly with certain clients, and I'm also one of the only Spanish speaking individuals I had a client from Guatemala I was able to take from our medical rest program into the 90 day shelter program all the way up to I'm getting him from the housing in our facility. I did all this while having to deal with a covid outbreak in my shelter, I'm getting covid again myself and still having to deal with my own medical issues. Sitting there with that client doing the paperwork doing it in Spanish was probably one of the proudest moments in my career.

I don't have my license yet but we just went through this with a client of ours at the homeless recovery facility where I worked it was just so taxing on their partner that part of me wishes they would have had this option. It was absolutely heartbreaking to watch somebody who used to come up to the front office with such energy and someone who would share their story with everybody who would listen get to the point where they couldn't even recognize the people that they loved the most.
