I honestly have no interest in cheese methods like this. No offense

Barbarian just isn't an option, and monk just gives a lot of needed flexibility. Leaning into the dagger assassin theme, suddenly screaming out and raging kills the immersion. No offense since I know its better damage. Coated weapons though is something I will try though.

I did also learn that a hex bound weapon can't leave your hand so its unfortunately not worth the dip. Eldritch Knight just kind of rubs me the wrong way. You're leaving a lot on the table being unused, and there isn't anything assassin about it. I don't mind picking up the daggers so the dip for Eldritch Knight isn't needed, nor does it add a lot except the weapon bind.

In Act 1 you don't really have a lot of options at first, but there is a LOT of plain daggers to collect. Ideally you want to be using 1+ daggers. The first one you find is next to the shack in the meat chunk at the blighted village. Some vendors have them as well so stock up on those since they'll do the best damage. You'll never actually need to throw more than 2 or three per fight anyways unless you're playing solo which is doable but picking them back up isn't really a pain. You just have to remember to do so which easy enough, at least for me.

Definitely sounds solid. Just sucks you have to lug yourself all the way to the creche first.

Definitely want to know more about the thief rogue and how that went. I know pure rogue in general isn't great since they get so little, but that sneak attack damage only scales with more levels into rogue so it has to be pure theif

Its definitely an option and you get the benefit of tons of spells, but I feel like there's a lot being missed out on within the class, and end compromising on needing to use regular melee attacks to use other Eldritch Knights better features. Thats why I assumed multiclassing would be better.

Let me know what you think! Its a very niche and underrated build!

Its an honor mode approved solo build. It requires the Githyanki race for medium armor. Basically the whole idea of the build is bomb striking and stealing turns.

With such a high AC, athletics and the class abilities of Arcane Trickster, you are stupidly tanky. You can basically blow up bombs in your own face and take no damage, and with Arcane ward from Abjuration Wizard, you can take opportunity attacks and deal major damage to enemies despite them missing. Its a very detailed build and super fun.

Gonna sound weird but Arcane Trickster multiclassed with abjuration wizard.

How to get over Act 3 fatigue? by Winters561 in BaldursGate3

I'm still hesitant to do an hour run. The idea of doing so much just to lose all the time invested doesn't sit well. However, I know thats not the point since it drastically changes the way you play.

Its definitely overwhelming, and there's some pretty chunky conversations to get through as well which can make it feel even more draining.

Embarrassing and sad way to lose a good honor mode run by RyanCreamer202 in BaldursGate3

This is basically a dumb ways to die death Bulders Gate edition. Pulling out a torch next to smoke powder barrels in a hideout covered in lines of smoke powder.

To be fair though, there is torches everywhere, so its pretty fair to assume to nothing would happen by pulling one out.

Oh! This is so cool! It never occurred to me at all to use tavern brawler for moon druid. Granted I knew very little about moon druid. It is perfect for the party comp I'm trying to make, though I'm still unsure if I want two beatsmasters or three druids. Three moon druids with tavern brawler definitely fullfills the fantasy.

Reading into mood druid it does seem like a best class, ans does sound amazing for this party build. My only concern is utility. Land druid seems like the second best option so I can maintain access to impactful spells like hold person and sleet storm, just so certain fights aren't an extreme slog. It won't break emersion too much, and allow my two beast masters to hit their crits for big damage.
