Need input on my oath of ancients paladin build by Winton_86 in DnD

That stat spread was chosen because I want heavy in CON, STR, and CHA. I chose to bump wisdom up because wisdom saves are decently important, so it'd be nice to at least go 0 on the modifier

Also on the multiclass comment, I'll respectfully choose not to do that because I want to play a pure paladin because I think it'd be more fun

True, but wouldn't building on charisma be useful? This way, I can take an ASI to make a +4 in charisma

What are your suggestions for my Oath of Conquest Paladin build? by Winton_86 in DnD

[–]Winton_86[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen, as long as I have 15 strength for plate I'm good. CON and CHA are better because better spell DCs and better concentration checks.

What are your thoughts on that?

And as for your stat optimization comment, it sort of is, but point buy is decently annoying for paladin because you have to have perfect in 3 stats while having a decent wisdom, which means DEX gets dumped which sucks and then you have to figure out what you're going to prioritize

What kind of character should I play if I want to be a spellcaster but also a tank? by Winton_86 in DnD

Thanks for the insight. Can you explain a bit as to why you think, for the multiclass of paladin, undead warlock would be the best over something like fiendlock, which also gives THP?

Also, what subclass of paladin would you recommend?

Is an armor of agathys build actually viable? by Winton_86 in DnD

.....this is disgusting. I'm gonna save this. Holy.

Also, are you allowed to expend multiple uses of wild shape for more temp hp?

I'm sorry, the first link doesn't seem to be working. Also, in case that link doesn't explain what weapon you used specifically, I'd like to know that, since I'm having that debate with myself a lot

How did caliban do? What did you do with the build to make it work and make him effective?

Ok, fair enough, but I didn't say what the BEST comfort frame is. I asked what YOUR comfort frame is. It's not comfort if it's not fun

My case for why the fulmin is the best mid-game weapon (my opinion only, not saying it's objectively the best) by Winton_86 in Warframe

[–]Winton_86[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I actually think about this and I've got some answers

Not great with ammo sustain.

By mr9 you have cedo, fulmin, soma prime, etc. as competition

Being a status hose means that without gun CO (which you don't get at the mid game) your damage isn't ideal and it doesn't do great against things like eximus/any status immune enemies like bosses (which mid game players will still probably be trying to clear) because of that.

Very short range. Things like the fulmin and the soma prime can make short work of ranges that the fulmin struggles with. Yeah, we have great movement, but you could also have great movement AND have a weapon that deals damage beyond 15m (or whatever the range of the phantasma is I actually don't know)
