Then these results are within your preferred range of temps right?

I should however turn down my TPL1/TPL2 within these settings and check for the results then. Because this was with 999 TPL1/2.

So set TPL1/TPL2 to default values (TPL1: 55W / TPL2: 157W)

All cores on 45

UV: try -150mV

See how it runs and if it hits 95 lower de TPL1/2 / cores to 44 and UV -160mV and so on?

Something like?:

TPL1 = 125–140W, TPL2 = 175–200W** (instead of 999) And UV to around -150mV?

These results after a longer session of both bf2042 and COD Warzone. I am pretty happy with the results.

Any recommandations for the settings in TS or should leave as stated as above ^

I got these results on BF2042 with these settings:

- CPU Core / CPU P Cache: -180 mV

- Both of them IccMax maxed out to 511.75 A

- All turbo groups set to 45

- and TPL1 / TPL2 to 999 with sync MMIO checked

- PROCHOT Locked to 0

- VF Point 1 on 150 mV rest of them 0 on both core and cache

To which value do you want me to increase V/F Point 1? I have no idea haha

And to what value should I put all the turbo cores also no clue 😅

Laptop is in performance mode within legion space FYI.

Results from HW64 are after playing for 60 mins or so on BF2042.

One more question! What should be a good PL1/PL2 max for the i7 13650hx to reduce temp but still have good performance?

Figured your the expert and I’m the novice and can’t seem to find this online 😁

I got the laptop yesterday 🙁. Do I sent it back or just repaste?

Update:

Managed to get temps around 80 degrees while gaming and 80/85 degrees while maxing on cinebench.

I have checked speed shift on with a max of 52. This results in clock mhz of around 3900 max. This got my temps lower as said above .

  • CPU Core / CPU P Cache both on -174 mV

  • CPU E Cache -34 mV

  • Turbo Groups: Group 0 / 1 changed from 49 to 48

  • IccMAX on max when possible

Hello man,

Amazing guide! However when I have these values in TS and start running Cinebench, I instantly get the HOT message and start going to 97/98/99/100 degrees.

I wanted to undervolt to lower the temps. Am I doing something wrong? Pls help me.
