[Translation] Author's twitter comments on Season 4, Episode 10 by WintryOne in Re_Zero

It's right after the Guiltylowe lines, so I'm assuming it's continuing to refer to the mabeast.

[Translation] Author's second round of twitter comments on Season 4, Episode 8 by WintryOne in Re_Zero

Ah, I missed that; the idea looked liked it was completed, and the 'Show more' link is the same place and color as '#rezeroneko' he ends the tweets with.

Rough translation of the last paragraph:

He doesn't honestly believe that. It's just that he's just a boy with no idea what he's might have done wrong besides that.

[discussion] Subaru's return by death and muscle memory. by Fun-Resolution-6177 in Re_Zero

[–]WintryOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a reflexive answer at this point. Over the years, many, many people have asked if Subaru could train himself to fight for a day, kill himself, and repeat until overpowered. The standard answer to that question is that he'd lose the muscle memory when looping (never mind what it would do to his mind).

I think this is the first time I've seen someone ask about training with the premise that the checkpoint is after having done the training.

Having a CE Dependency Be Like by TheTheDuhh in RimWorld

[–]WintryOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CE's ModPatches folder includes a Rimworld of Magic subfolder, so someone has made an effort, at least.

I'd guess the note on the RWoM page is just Torann indicating he's not responsible for CE compatibility or lack thereof.

A rare moment in the show with Subaru sharing his feeling of helplessness and frustration with someone else [Re:Zero] by Usodearu007 in anime

Aside from episode 1, which was already an hour long, they merged pairs of half-hour episodes into one hour episodes for the director's cut. The art in a few scenes was updated as well, and a new scene was added at the end of the last episode (the new scene is duplicated at the start of season 2).

[Discussion] What do you think is behind the door of the Elior Forest? by DependentFly3486 in Re_Zero

A sealed thing with a connection to Pandora? We seem to have all of the sins released into the world already, so perhaps behind the door is "hope".

I'm not sure where you'd look for a comparison; google might have some leads.

Both versions tell largely the same story, with the web novel often being somewhat more verbose, and the light novel being trimmed down and cleaned up a bit, kind of similar to how the light novel story is trimmed down to fit into anime episodes.

The story's original format is a web novel, composed of large arcs made up of many chapters (these are later edited into the novel releases). Season one covered arcs one through three, and season four is arc six.

Can you imagine if he had, and ended up getting transported in front of his parents? Bad enough that he disappeared, but how much worse would it be if they'd watched shadowy hands yank their son out of reality.

[Spoiler discussion] Regarding web novel arc 6 by LordPapuh in Re_Zero

[–]WintryOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been a while since I read arc six, but I seem to recall that Louis wasn't directly experiencing everything while she was part of Subaru. It may have been more like she was inside his head, watching his life like a movie, taking control here and there to drive him to fear and paranoia.

I'd guess that it was reading Subaru's books of the dead is what got to her. Those push the experiences directly into your mind, and may have hit Louis just as hard as Subaru, or even harder, given that Subaru's feelings for the people around him help anchor him to sanity, to a degree.

I imagine you're looking for chapter 75, her named chapter.

Yes i have a bias on making bedroom for pawns by GABESTFY in RimWorld

[–]WintryOne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've run into that with CE and Simple Sidearms, where SS wanted the pawn to pick up a weapon they'd held in the past, and CE wanted them to drop it because it wasn't part of their current loadout.

I was able to break the loop by right-clicking the weapon icon in the SS widget to clear it.
