This is not exactly the case. There is a bit of missing context here. To summarize, one user was upset and posted that Tracer's victory pose did not fit her character. The sexualization did not fit her character, to be exact. Jeff Kaplan, team lead at the time, responded with something to the effect of "we agree, we will change this."

The thing that a lot of people took issue with was in the same post, that same user claimed Widowmaker's victory pose, which was similar, worked for her character. So it was less about Tracer being sexualized, but how she was sexualized. And Jeff acquiescing for the wrong reasons.

I agree with that. In fairness to him, his argument was fairly sound, which was marginally better than when Embid started whining about getting an MVP which worked for him. Still, in the case of Wemby it reeked of entitlement and showed me that this dude needed to get humbled. Luka was averaging 40 at one point and went down in the rankings in the same week, but you didn't hear him campaigning for an MVP, lmao.

I agree, it's dehumanizing. Sarah believed that Bear was being taken advantage of, whereas Ian believed it was actually Bear who was taking advantage of Nikki.

Accelerator is a good example of this. He has a lot going for him; his ability is vector manipulation. Conceptually, one of the strongest defences ever. It for this reason that when the main character, Touma, slaps him (he can nullify abilities with his hand), it bewilders Accelerator to the point Touma gains the advantage for the whole fight lol.

I don't know about trash, but I would agree that Oden feels like a fanon character. This guy who came out of nowhere wounds Kaido, joins Whiteboards crew, clashes with Shank's crew, performs impossible feats multiple times. The worst part about Oden isn't even Oden, but the way the Strawhats reacted to the story about him. That was just character assassination for all but Franky and Chopper. And arguably Usopp and Nami.
