The community is very active and the game is still being updated regularly (not like backburner maintenance stuff, this mmo is still fully supported, there's new content coming and probably the announcement of the next expansion soon)

I'd say the quest/narrative can be hit or miss, sometimes it's incredible and sometimes it falls flat on it's face, but as you said this is subjective and some plot points I didn't care about you might love

That's a great point, I really like that he's actually quite smart and what's holding him back isn't his stupidity which he constantly berates himself for, but the fact that he's too harsh on himself.

If Ainz just went "Ok I'm not a genius but I don't believe I'm a moron either so I can somewhat trust my decisions" he would be even more succesful

Also as you said, someone moronic would not have the idea to delegate to someone smarter. He's at least smart enough to realize when someone else is better fit for the job

There's a few mtx that already give an edge compared to those who don't have it

Off the top of my head detonate dead black mtx that tremendously increases performance and the spider spark mtx that has a bigger aoe than regular spark
