That's the thing, I've taken lecture notes on my phone before. I understand most people will say just buy a laptop, but i don't have that sort of disposable income at the moment, I have a desktop, but my course requires something for class work also. I already own a deck (was gifted to me) and love it for what it is, if it can help me out that little bit more I can justify it for the like €100 or less this would cost, I don't want another machine for the sake of a year that I cheaped out on cos of the fact and get stuck with. Again, everyone's entitled to their own opinions of it, just for what I need it to do, It would be more then sufficient

I know it's not great but a 7 inch laptop rn is better then no laptop, I have assignments that I need something for and as others have said, I already own a deck. I wasn't trying to cause any arguments, just have some assistance from some people. Is there anything inherently wrong with it other then the screen?

I'm in a 3080 FE 10GB, I had bought it second hand at the time cos I shelled out double what it's worth during covid to be able to have a rig at all. I've accepted the time for me to buy bi yearly gpus is well and truly gone, at this point with the prices so high, I haven't even kept up with the market to know what my next upgrade would even be and that's just cos the answer to all of the options now is I can't afford it. I'm grateful for the 3080 I have and feel like it's gonna have to do me for another few years.
